If it wasn´t for Rosberg Hamilton incident at the first lap, May wouldn´t have won his first GP with RedBullShitRacing. And to change the fn drivers after four races in the season is fn unprofessional and shows me how they treating people. I am from Austria, hate RedBull, hate politics and money. If only ifs would be real.. but they are not, so wake up. He got the chance, and brilliantly kept Kimi Raikonnen behind him. Het kept a worldchampion in a faster car behind him on older tires.. Professional sports isn’t a kids game and can be very tough in numerous ways. Red Bull did what they had too otherwise they’d probably be kicking themselves right now watching Max win with Ferrari or one of the other top teams.

not the same thing. Kvyat was actually performing at red bull. he just had two bad weekends with lots of good weekends at red bull. he fucking beat ricciardo in 2015. Daniil got sacrificed for verstappen. Gasly is just underperforming!

@@ninjaballs6123 it’s crazy how good this kid is. I used to talk him down a bit(probably because I was a huge Danny Ric fan) but it’s really undeniable at this point. He might very well be the most talented/skilled driver the sport has seen.

The thing about the nature of the swap was ferrari's and mercedes' interest in max and the lengths they were ready to go to poach him away from red bull. With his father keen to see him at ferrari red bull needed swift moves to keep him in the setup and Kvyat's lack of showing set the stage up for them. Can safely say the gamble worked out well for them.

A lot of people forget that the red bull wasn't even the fastest car for the majority of the first half of the season..only when they changed their tyres they got the advantage.

@@Firemarioflower Well, Hulkenberg doesnt have to overtake, because he is one of the finest qualifyers on the grid. Of course Albon needs good overtaking abilities, because he always qualifies between P8 and P12. Gasly had 12 Races for Red Bull. Albon has had 15 now. And they both show exactly the same gap to Verstappen. And the only Podium Chances for Albon were because of Safety Cars and never because of his race performance. The only difference is the mindset. Alex is more willing to learn and find the mistakes on himself rather than the car. Gasly was maybe not humble enough and got caught out by his own expectations. Otherwise the only reason I imagine why they didnt throw Albon out yet is because he is Red Bulls last Driver at the moment. They fucked up giving Ricciardo too much of No 2 Driver feeling, so their last really competitive driver left them. Plus 51% of Red Bull is owned by a thai company, so they like Albon in the cockpit. I personally don't see Albon improve anymore, but I maybe wrong, lets wait for the upcoming triple header. If he still doesnt perform there, Red Bull honestly should think about Vettel.

Both Alonso and Hamilton got beaten by Jenson in the same team. Jacques is a world champion and fully deserving one. If he drove McLaren instead of that disaster he'd be a multiple champ. @Ding Dong You are right of course, there is a great amount of variables which decide over an F1 driver's career. But Jacques Villeneuve said that Kvyat wasn't quick enough, which simply wrong. Yes he made too many mistakes, yes Ricciardo had more problems with his car, but we can't deny the fact that Daniil Kvyat is quick. My comment was only intended to oppose Villeneuve's opinion because I disagree with him.

Kvyat is a good driver, in fact those guy's all are. The different for me is the passion, the love for racing and the commitment a driver has. Then his skills on the breaks and to be smart on the track. Max is in that way just a better driver then Kvyat i think, and not only to him, he is better then many other drivers also. He was proving that already and let see what is happening in 2017, i am curious....

max verstappen is the 3rd driver on red bull to win a race on there first season, first was vettel in 2009 in china, then was ricciardo in 2014 in canada an then was verstappen in 2016 in spain. Daniil kvyat still has a chance to redeem himself back to red bull if he shows great progress cause right now carlos sainz jr is closer an closer to be join red bull if either ricciardo or verstappen reitire from formula 1

You do realize renault destoyed redbull in 2015 season they were no better than Toro Rosso, this was just political move by red bull, kvyat was equally good as max verstappen.

Lotus was there but ran with Mercedes units. Redbull during that time wasnt that bad but was pretty much one of the fastest midfield cars with Williams as competition. How ever they didnt stand a chance on challenging ferrari an mercedes for the title. During that time kvyat wasnt that bad on his debut season with redbull an entered decent results to get him ahead ricciardo in the standings which is a shocker honestly. But for 2016 the decision was not political, it was what Horner an marko saw. First quarter of the 2016 season saw kyvat starting to make mistakes despite his podium he got in china, horner an marko did want to rewrite history by finding the youngest champion an noticed verstappens 2015 progress when he finished in P4 2x an a P4 in russia 2016 that's the progress of a driver in need of a quick car. That's when horner realised that max could be the next big thing an he was right, max was extremely talented, an much better then kvyat, he was fast but his defense back in 2016 was crazy dangerous an was known for being the Kmag before the Kmag.

This switch was justified if you look 5 years on. Max has won many races and the championship, kvyat wouldn’t of done this!
