I dunno if I'm the only one... But the cars in 2018 feel a lot more planted than in 2017... In 2017, I always felt my rear end was prone to sliding in many tracks... Particularly belgium, Azerbaijan and Singapore

For me it's the exact opposite around Australia (only adding Australia cause i only played the trial version of 2017, and the full version of 2018)

Not everyone is interested in learning tracks. I’ve been playing racing games for 7 years at least, and I’m just now starting to take the time to learn tracks, and that’s only because GT sport has a terrible racing line.

When you hear the V8 and then it switches to the V6T, mood be like: 😃 -> 😭

F1 2010 still looks better and more realstic that the new 2021 game, especially the vegetation. Toned down colors make all the difference, too.

A Mercedes changed a lot from 2010 to 2018? You don’t say I think Ferrari didn’t change at all, same car like in 2010 just wider with adapted parts is driving in 2018 with a V6 Hybrid at the back :o

Usually it take a bit of time when you move on to the next game but when I got F1 2017, I immediately got the feeling of the game. My favourite Codemasters F1 game to date.

Considering how many modes there are, probably!

I like the 2010-2011 it’s good

They have nailed the sounds of 2018

F1 2012 ahh I loved that game

In the games that use KERS, to get the most out of it, it should be used in the lower gears not when your at a high speed.

One of the best racing games would be the crash physics of Beam Ng drive, the driving physics of Asseto Corsa and the graphics of driveclub!

Performance... i don't think so, in fact i think it gets out of the way, but its an improvement in safety, i think after a few crashes in 2018 it will stay, sad really imo, tho i don't hate the halo, i will forever remember how it was before it

It adds the benefit of preventing wheels or the car itself from hitting a driver's head whenever they fly one over another, which happened twice in 2018, once in F2 and once in F1.

Skip 2017, it's a mess. 2019 would be the perfect upgrade though, seems to become the most redined CM F1 game in history, but then again CM's F1 franchise isn't particularly sophisticated in the slightest if compared to its rough and fighting competition in the racing branche.

I have to comment on this cause you said f1 2018 the way the car handles is very similar to 2017 and i must say thats total malarkey. F1 2018 the handling is leagues better than F1 2017. F1 2017 it felt like i was driving a boat.

It seems like most people dislike 2014, it is one of my favorites but this is probably because it was when I started playing F1 games 2014 was the first I played and I played it a lot. My favorites now are 1.2012 2.2013 3.2017 4.2014 5.2016 6.2019 7.2018 8.2015 9.2010 10.2011

F1 2010: 0:14 F1 2011: 1:43 F1 2012: 3:12 F1 2013: 4:45 F1 2014: 6:14 F1 2015 (2014): 7:46 F1 2015: 9:21 F1 2016: 10:51 F1 2017: 12:22 F1 2018: 13:53 Personal comentary: 2010: good physics (realistic) and good sound. 2011: against: you can not see the steering wheel and the sound of 2011 was better. 2012: good sound, good graphics but again you do not see the steering wheel. 2013: Sound similar to 2010 (Although I like more the 2010). Again I do not like that the steering wheel is not visible. 2014: very good turbo sound. The graphics on the steering wheel are very bad and I do not like Physics. 2015 (2014): the graphics look better, the graphics of the steering wheel are now real and and the physical ones are improved. But the sound of 2014 will be much better. 2015: this game has better graphics of all versions, good physical shock absorbers, but very bad physics on the steering wheel. The sound of F1 2014 was better. 2016: the graphics of F1 2015 were better. However, the sound in this version is better than in F1 2015. 2017: good sound (as in F1 2014). Good graphics, better than 2016 (Although 2015 was better) but I do not like physics. 2018: realistic sound, good physics, good graphics (Although 2015 the best) but to me particularly I do not like the design of these new cars and neither the sound of the news engines.

I think that The visibility of the steering wheel depends from the car that you are using (example,from the 2019 haas I can barely see the steering wheel,meanwhile from the 2019 Mercedes I can completely see it)

You could do with some practise

Too arcadish game very similar from 10 to 18 not much change. I like 18 but previous releases are look good as well but its just like fifa its basically a shame from Codemasters they can do better just remembering Dirt Rally

It isn’t meant to rival asseto corsa as a racing sim, it’s meant for more casual people, and is a similar style to FIFA

Lol 11 and 12 versions were the only ones who were realistic and challenging to drive without assists. 2018 is arcade all the way, maybe a "push some buttons sim" at best
