Studio Liverpool's pit stops were the best. Would be great if they did something like that again nowadays. A well timed press to lift the car, press a button for wheel gun, another for tyre off, a third for tyre on, a fourth for the drop, a fifth for the lights. Would be hilarious to see that done in 1.8 seconds. That's a button press every 3 tenths of a second.

They can not do that becasue it is a pegi 3 game .... so it cannot show people running over the pit crew by mistake.... That is also the reason why they cannot make the crashes look more dangerous and realistic crashes ...

It’s funny how the very first one is the best with actually having to control your pit speed so you didn’t run past your pit box and with pit limiter there as well

F1 evolving at its finest...

They've changed so much stuff around yet the steering wheel is still completely desynchronized from the wheels and honestly, 2019 might just be the worst one yet. They've done a great progress with the series but this still looks like some mobile game stuff.

Yeah, IRL Honda hasn't sounded great on onboard footage, that has translated to the games since 2017, with a brief lapse in 2016

Whoever did this video has to insert the years in each sequence so we all know what year they are on

You cant do a 3 lap race on career mode but in a quick race you are able to do a 3 lap race on ps4

I only play on the 2012 version. Does it automatically drive in and out on the newest versions or do you have a manual mode ?

It's mostly automatic. You can have fully automatic, or you can have partial manual, where you slow down on pit entry and rev to leave the pit box.

It's such a shame that pretty much every racing game (most games in general) have abandoned split screen multiplayer. Online is nice but playing with my brother or best friend next to me is much more enjoyable.

2010, 2011 & 2012 had 24 cars, 2013, 2014 & 2016 had 22. 2015 and every years since 2017 have been 20.

Well, before 2016, there were only two compounds available per race compared to three today. They called them Options (softer) and Primes (harder). The colour code system was also changed in 2019, so Pink (Hypersoft), Purple (Ultrasoft), Red (Supersoft), Yellow (Soft), White (Medium), Orange/Ice Blue (Hard). Before 2015, the Option tyre at Monza was the Medium compound, when in 2015 it was the Prime. After that, the softest available was the Supersoft. There isn't a single Hard compound tyre in this video.

Because of the engine sound on cars are not accurate to their real life counterpart. I prefer 2011 to 2013 little bit more accurate than 2010's sounding V10 roar.

When you're just trying to record the pitstops, it doesn't matter when you stop. Obviously, only pit on lap 1 if you have damage, this was just to record the pitstops.

10 years od development and still shit. That is a feat tough.
