I just bought this bag, based on videos like this. I've only taken it out once, so can't say about its long-term use, but it feels amazing. The 'pro small' camera box I bought to put inside it is a tailored fit, and the whole set-up feels really sturfy - including what I presume is a padded metal frame that goes around the inside to keep the backpack's shape. Lovely stuff. I was going to get the 20L Peak Design one instead (as I really like their 6L slingbag and wrist strap) but I heard it was a bit over-engineered and someone said the back straps are really close together at the top. (I also experience that problem others have with Peak Designs' 5L slingbag, where the zip broke really fast, although they replace dit with the 6L for free ... possibly at the expense of the guarantee). Anyway, love this F-Stop Guru backpack.

Great video! Very helpful videos and content, tips. I’m torn between ordering a F Stop Kashmir UL or Loka UL. I worry about anything for air travel.

This review convinced me to purchase this bag. I like to travel light, but my existing bag is just slightly too small for what I typically carry. What brand of laptop sleeve do you use?

Glad i could help. I do still think that this is one of the best bags I got. I do wish they refresh the design a bit. With their dura diamond material 😁
Did you ever had problems with carrying batteries on a plane? What are the rules there? Does it depened on the airline?

Well actually for now I didn't have any problems. But now I have more different types of batteries so who knows, this is an interesting topic.

Hey there thank you for watching, i actually just put it to sale few days ago although I don’t care if I don’t manage to sell it since I still think function wise this is their best backpack. Got myself the new Lotus 4 Core, although I do think it is not close to guru UL in a lot of things which is better with more pockets and departments the Lotus is slightly taller so I can carry a little bit more of photo and video equipment on a smaller shoots and hikes.

Sorry, der GURU UL ist als Kameratasche unpraktisch, da man nicht an den Reißverschluss der inliegenden Kameratasche kommt! Rucksack hat Runden ausschnitt, Kamera eckig?! Ist der Rucksack gepackt, funktioniert das nicht - daher sind 399 US-Dollar nicht gerechtfertigt (Produziert in CHINA) - Produkt geht zurück. Schade
