I think the F-15 deserves a full fidelity. It only has a perfect record ,but has been the back bone of air superiority forever now.

Part of the reason they made the low fidelity models is because they couldn't get access to the data they needed to make it high fidelity. For example there will never be a full fidelity modern Russian jet because they can't get the data.

I had made a comment on another video somewhere and Wagner replied they didn't plan on it. I'm suprised that maybe the older blocks would still be too confidential to get the data needed ?. Who am I to know though im just a civilian consumer ;)

It's worth noting that the Hornet flight stick is VERY close to the Eagle stick, which is of course due to their shared manufacturing heritage :)

There's also the warning light panel on the right side. Shows for instance if the speedbrake is extended.

Full fidelity F-15C when?

A big favor, could you explain how to understand vectors and heading bearings called out by awaks and other aircraft. Thanks. Anyone with that info would really help me out..I'm new to dcs and would really like get that understood.

You should do a video on the GR groups most suggested future modules. I'd personally love to have to have either an F-4 Phantom or a more futuristic stealth fighter like the F-22 raptor or SU-57 cpme to the sim. Not sure how possible it is for developers to actually model in detail those planes though since they seemingly are a lot more top secret than say an F-16.

The fuelgauge, you say its total amount. so how do you know when to jettison the external tanks when they are empty. how do you know they are empty? Could you use full external fueltanks as "bombs"?

Estimates, you will learn the aircraft and sometimes you need to know when it is more effective to drop the tanks than to keep them, is that extra minute worth of fuel worth the drag, depends entirely on the situation and what ur doing but still.

I got FC3 and tried to get the F15C but I can only load a SU27 in the training tab please help

different maps have different missions, syria is the map where you can get f15c cold start, f15c takeoff landing etc.

Cap. For the low fidelity (FC3) modules, would you say, they can't be flown really in VR. Or in other words - can you bind all you would need to your HOTAS (keyboards are pretty useless in VR) to be effective in flight?

Low Fidelity models are pretty good to fly in VR. I fly with Rift S and have nearly all keys I need binded to my Hotas. You can also use alternater like Ctrl or shift to have some more options.

You you can use VR but all controls have to go onto HOTAS. Not ususally a problem.

Because of the need for keybinding, I find them a little more challenging to fly in VR, but the simplifications also work to my advantage - there's not as much stuff you need to worry about. Everything of key importance I can map to my HOTAS or to very easy-to-reach keys (like the cursor control keys). A few rarely used keys still end up on the keyboard, but with the headsets I've used I can still take a peek down the bridge of my nose and find them when necessary.

IMO, FC3 modules are lots of fun in VR (and otherwise). Some tips for bindings: 1) Double-up your HOTAS bindings using a shift button (or multiple shift buttons) located on your HOTAS. This can be achieved in the software that comes with some devices, but I prefer to use VoiceAttack (VA) to achieve a more uniform result across multiple devices that may not be the same brand. Also it allows me to use a shift button from one device to affect the functions on a separate device too. Very easy to do: set up VA to identify your HOTAS devices, then create commands that output key presses in response to button combos. No programming skills needed. 2) After you fill up your HOTAS buttons with primary functions, use VA to make voice commands for any secondary functions that you can't fit. Such as mode switching, external views, AI comms, whatever. You may also want to dedicate a PTT button for comms, so your friends don't have to hear you talking to your PC ;-)

Found a pdf of keyboard commands for the F15C.... RShift+N shuts off the master caution.... Verified it in game as well....

have a big problem with this jet if I fly left or right then the whole jet wobbles and I lose altitude. I have therefore refunded. what did i wrong that i'm too stupid to fly the thing or is that a general problem

I think low fidelity aircraft in DCS shouldn't exist. let's be true with it, just play war thunder at that point and youll get more aircrafts with the same money
