My right eye got hit by a soccer ball on August 15, 2023. I saw several eye doctors but finally found one who detected a retina tear. The retina tear caused a PVD and a huge big black floater that looks like a worm. After getting my retina tear fixed, I began drinking a glass of pineapple juice every day, followed by a small serving of fresh pineapples after lunch and dinner. Fast forward to Septemeber 2023, the big floater has become significantly smaller and lighter in color. I'll be going for a follow-up checkup next week. Hopefully, everything goes well.

that's because the drug companies ARE the FDA. have been since the '80s, thanks to Ronnie Ray-gun. before him, the drug companies had to constantly bribe the FDA in order to get their way. RR saved big pharma a lot of money, he did. he should be on mt rushmore.

The only reason is that the drug companies won't do the research on it to bring to the FDA, and with good reason. It costs $2.5B to bring a drug to market. Most drugs fail somewhere along the way, so that money also needs to be recouped somewhere. But be aware that I am not trying to defend the drug companies here. While they are forced to pay a lot to bring a drug to market, at the same time this keeps other companies from popping up and competing with them. The FDA is working to limit competition. Drug companies pay for protection and pass that cost on to consumers.

I had many floaters for many years and then went on gluten-free diet (no wheat, oats, barley rye) and read labels carefully. I was looking get rid of back pain inflammation and "wheat belly" which happened within only 3 months. What I hadn't expected was to see my eye floaters disappear. Gone. I was amazed. Read into it. Inflammation is key, and gluten-caused inflammation is a plague. Bromelaine makes sense as an anti inflammatory, but I suggest getting off all pasta, breads, oats, and every form of gluten - your health will improve dramatically. I also used to get serious colds/flu 3-4 times a year ... since being gluten free I literally have not had any colds or flu in over 4 years - astonishing to me - thought you'd like to know ...

J Segal I have those gelatinous looking ones AND the black “bugs”. I have AMD in both eyes as well as Glaucoma in both eyes. I have had the wet AMD in my right eye for 16 yrs and have had an injection every 4 was since then. I would always have more black floaters after my shot and the Dr said it was blood which didn’t away within days. Then my left eye went from dry to wet AMD and I have begun shots in that eye also every 5 weeks. Since that time, the little black bugs have become 3D! I can actually see some of them closer and some further away giving them a 3 dimensional appearance. WHY? My dr.says he’s never heard of that and I wonder if I’m actually seeing this or if it’s an optical illusion.. o something like double vision. Does anyone else have the 3D black spots? They are very small compared to the black spot that shows up directly after my injection, but I never saw this anomaly (3D) until I began receiving injections in both eyes. Actually, the gelatinous floaters (2) in my right eye are so bad, the will actually block a letter on the eye chart, and when trying to read with a magnifier, if the move into my sight line the can block a whole word. They look just like your example at the beginning of this lecture. If you know more about this 3D or how to look around the larger floaters, I’d appreciate any help. Thanks, Connie

what helped my floaters was almost always wearing 'shade' lens so even watching TV inside was muted. Also, definitely practicing the 20/20 rule .. if you do 20 minutes of tablet/computer screen/even book reading/ spend at least 20 seconds focussing on an item at least 20 feet away ... not just stopping the close work but actively focusing i.e. look out a window at a garden and focus on various plants/leaves/trees minimum 20 feet away

I used to believe in the primacy of diet in health, but my experiences--by way of overwhelming illness with which doctors only added to my frustration ... and my earnest quest for well-being that ensued--I have come to believe our environment plays a larger role, with the primary influencer being our own energy fields. Yes, minimizing toxin exposure is great, as is organ and system cleansing, but we are powerful energy manipulators. So much so that we can undermine health with a belief or emotions. Just a thought.💞

I had a leg ulcer last ~april 2019, and in mid summer 2019 I ate about 4 cans of pineapple a day. I had to limit sodium, found out meat was making me swell, etc so I just started eating cans of fruit, which mostly contained pineapple. The fruit was helping so I became a part time fruitarian. My leg ulcer healed up within a month, vs trying to heal it for ~7 months via nurse visits. I stopped eating pineapple, but I'll start, again, tomorrow. I stopped, because I started eating normal food again, and it was like a habit that faded away. I did develop some serious eye problems last spring '19, and can't recall if the pineapple helped me, but the eye problems are still there. This time I won't focus on the leg, since it healed up, but I'll focus my eyes. I started taking copper two weeks ago, and it's doing wonders for my energy. I've been anemic since I was 16, so I'm assuming the copper is helping my anemia. I'll find out in March with blood tests. I found out copper is in pineapple, too and I'm wondering if it's not just bromelain, but the copper, too. I have bromelain supplements in my cabinet. I haven't taken any in months, but just took some right after I watched this video. If the pineapple and bromelain, together, help, than I'll definitely leave a comment and let people know. I've had floaters since I was 14, now 34. I had no idea what they were, until this past year.. I'd see them everytime the sky was gray, or when I'd look at the snow. If anyone else wants to know if the pineapple and bromelain helps, you can find me on Facebook. I may forget about this post. You can simply write me a message and ask, "How are your floaters." I have two jobs, so it's been rough finding time to make an appointment among other things, but if they get worse than I'll eventually try to get laser surgery. Facebook.com/zacharypzetts

Using the Lutin has also slow-down the flashing lighting bolts and the last time they were not so bright. Dim and didn't last more than a few minutes, unlike before were 5-10mins was the norm. And before it was not like every week just once in a while. This last dim-lighting bolt happened after not having those flashing bolts for over a month. I hope this helps?

Great Videos, I suffer with literally hundreds of floaters. I get no flashes or large black shadows. Most are small or long thin strands. Occasionally some will clump together but they usually sink out of view in time. I have been checked for any detachment or tears & all is good. However, my eye surgeon who removed a pterygium. Said any procedure to remove them has very high risk. He also said the fluid in the eye is not replaced, what you have is all you get. This is the 1st trial of any potential non-invasive treatment for Floaters. That I can find & you said in a prior video, you had not heard or any medication based treatment. So this is very exciting. I have purchased Bromelain Forte 500mg capsules. Although there is no official dose, 200-400mg is the range I have found. I could not see in the paper you linked a ref to mg of Bromelain per Slice of pineapple. Please let me know if you know this. I want to start at 100 p/d & then up it to 200 in 3 months if I see no or little improvement. However, I want to photograph each week to record any changes rather than just rely on what I perseve. But I can not find any process on how to obtain an image of my floaters other that convincing a optometrist to do it. Can you advice of any apparatus I could set up to capture images of floaters. I have USB microscopes & a wireless ear canal microscope. Happy to share my results with you. Cheers @ndre'

Since I take this supplement and it has 2,400 GDU of Bromelain, I should see an improvement in my floaters. Never paid any attention to them aas I had gotten use to them being in my eyes. Will start checking them regualrly now that I no this additional benefit. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.

I've read that Bromelaine helps with COPD. I think most of the Bromelaine is near the core or harder part. And, it needs to be fresh pineapple as canned pineapple gets treated which destroys the Bromelaine or most of it. This is what I've read up on but not sure if it's accurate.

Two months ago I watched this video. I tried the pineapple thing, it works 100% my floaters are almost gone. Drink the juice as well. What happens is, after about a month the floaters will start to become extremely transparent, then will shrink, and either vanish or become so small and faded, that you cant see them at all. I recommend anyone with bad floaters try this.

Really enjoy your pleasant, informative & helpful presentations. And the fact that you covered the issue of diabetics being cautious with consuming sugars in pineapple. Bromelaine is also a helpful digestive enzyme. I wonder if its ability to enhance digestion & improve metabolism, plays a part in the body's ability to anihilate floaters?

If one’s digestion is not functioning top notch it can create all kinds of illnesses. I did the Viome and Everlywell tests and found my digestion was not optimal. I tried limes formula but it did not agree with my stomach. Now I’m reading all this info here it seems that bromelain is the key to better digestion along with papaya/digestive enzymes as a supplement. I’m going to try it as a supplement and see. How has it worked for you so far?

Thank you for your info, I used to have floaters in the past when I was ill, but not any more. I did not know about the pineapple cure, but I do often put fresh pineapple in my smoothies. You could use a bit of help for selecting the pineapple. It is easy to pull a leaf off of a ripe pineapple, and that's a way to know that its ready to eat. The pineapple you have is way too green and too pale from inside. It is not ripe and it will have no flavor.

Your video is very helpful doctor. I've had floaters for a numbers of years. My optometrist described it as a snow globe and he said it doesn't affect the vision. On my most recent eye test, he said there's a bit of calcium inside the eyes. Again, he said there's nothing to worry about as it doesn't affect the eyesight and its quite common in many people. Is it possible for you to talk about the calcium problem doctor? Thank you.

I use sterile caster oil drops in my eyes before bed time. This helps a lot in braking drop down flitters in my eyes. I found unsweetened concentrated pineapple juice with no added sugar I about to try. Having to take less because it concentrated hopefully with not affect my diabetes much. I will monitor and comment on my progress.

I did try this the morning after having 2 new floaters in my left eye yesterday. I ate too much of the pineapple thought I believe because I did have my mouth hurt, But, the worst part was that after I ate supper, my belly started hurting read bad for over an hour & then I had diarrhea. As I read up on pineapple, I learned that too much of the enzyme, Bromelain, can cause both of these symptoms. Please be careful to NOT eating too much!!

I have had floaters my entire life. Made a MASSIVE diet change about 3 months ago. Every morning I do a real fruit smoothie. Milk, greek yogurt, protein powder and a cup and a half of fresh fruit. Mostly blueberries and dragonfruit. Sometime pineapples, oranges, banana, grapes and strawberries. Try to mix it up. And, I don't notice my floaters at all anymore. I have also lost 24lbs during that time with lots a walking. Over 300 miles. Not sure what caused them to go away but I am sure the healthy eating is definitely a factor.

Bromelain definitely affects the near retina floaters us young people deal with. I have only eaten about 6 pineapples over the course of a month and a half and the mobility of my floaters is much more. This, however might be a bad thing depending on your situation. I had one floater "glued" to the center of my vision in my right eye but now due to bromelain he is able to "sink down" and not cling to that one spot as much. This means I can ignore it a little easier on computers and televisions although its still definitely there. I am hesitant to continue using bromelain as I don't want to liquify my vitreous or have tons of floaters zipping around constantly but it definitely has an effect. If you floaters are higher than your line of sight, I would say don't use it.
