I have green eyes and a LOT of astigmatism too. When I cry, they turn lime green.

That's why my floaters never bothered me back in 2000... MDMA was dilating the sheet out of the eyes 🤣

After I had Covid and later the vaccine, I started having horrible dry eye. I’ve always had big eyes, but at my annual my doctor noticed that she thought they were bigger than usual. Fast forward- I had increased scleral show and both my upper and lower eyelids had retracted. My eyes no longer closed all the way. Over and over I’ve had thyroid tests because it sure sounds like thyroid, right? But all the numbers are normal. I think it was Covid related. I read a study that showed a link between the vaccine and Graves’ disease (albeit a rare side effect), but doctors have dismissed the thyroid idea altogether because my numbers are normal. I wonder if you’ve encountered anything about this in your research?

I saw my ophthalmologist a few days ago and she gave me my new prescription. I happen to also have an optometrist, and her prescription is different from the ophthalmologist. The Sph value is what's different. Any ideas why they are different?

Putting caster oil directly in the eye sounds extremely foolish. God knows what contaminants could be lurking in a bottle of caster oil.

My main problem was not addressed and there may not be a solution. I have a very thin bony bridge. Adjustments do not work. Oversized bridge pads do not work. I have sewn soft rubber cups over the pads, but that does not work. It works better than anything else, but still leaves a large red area that aches. Contact lenses are out of the question for me as my eyes are deep set, and I'm 78 years old and do not want the aggravation. So other than some sort of band over my head holding the glasses off my nose, I don't know what to do. Any ideas? Thanks.

I appreciate this video so much! My son has retinal issues and I have severe dry eye, and eyelid retraction. I’m curious- are the studies done with the glasses on (ie: the ones that come for protection with a red light device), or glasses off? And, if the glasses are off, do the successful cases in the studies have their eyes open or closed?

Wondering too if IR light is safe for IOL’s? You know with the potential to heat and could it possibly distort the lens in any way.

I am very protective of my eyes and I would be afraid to put something like castor oil into my eyes cause how do u know if the ingredients in it won’t affect your vision more.

Great video. I'm 35M and going for cataract surgery tomorrow (short notice! There was a cancellation). Have had blurry vision for 18 months after a spontaneous PVD 2 years ago. Concerned because of my age. But hoping tomorrow is the beginning of better days to come.

If it has brown, is it green or hazel? Cause Ive met someone with solid green eyes, no brown and it was natural. I have gray with brown and when people say my eyes are green, I just dont see it at all. I feel like grey is more accurate than green.
