Extremely Rusty Pipe Threading Machine - Restoration
In this video I restore a very old pipe threading machine. I bought this pipe threading machine from flea market. This machine is in very poor condition and cannot be used without restoration.
Pipe threading machine restoration I started by disassembling all the parts of the machine.After disassembling all the parts of the machine I washed all the parts of the machine with kerosene oil. It took me more than 3 hours to wash all the parts with kerosene. I left parts of the machine in vinegar for 24 hours. And to remove the paint on the parts of the machine, I used a paint remover and removed the casting marks and then steel putting and painted. After that, I blackened the teeth of the machine by cold blowing and also blackened a bush of the machine by cold blowing. Both machine handles were not original and were broken so I made two new handles for the machine. After restoring all the parts of the pipe threading machine I assembled all the parts of the machine.

Шпаклёвка на таком инструменте не приемлема. Лучше сваркой заварить каверны, и потом обработать напильником. В остальном все отлично. P.S. и да , твой новый резьбонарезной аппарат таки поудобнее этого будет 😂

Корпус чугун можно плавно нагреть чтоби не ллпнуллвся грязь и краска сама отпадет потом только водой помитб

Polishing the pipe threader may not be necessary for its function, but it can improve its appearance.

Это не реставрация ,тупо приведение в рабочее состояние, ну шпакля это вообще кринж, лучше зачистить фризой и подварить, следов литья кучу оставил ,напильником много не обработал ,на троечку работа
