I think the repositioning of the smaller tuber should have been done gently without necessarily removing its roots. That way, its chances of survival and enlargement won't reduce.

Do not introduce technology and chemicals that will make people fall sick destroy or not even give imunity to the body. In the developed world, people are looking for organic food.
