Extreme Snow Shelter in Winter Woods
In this video, I will build a snow shelter using a Canvas lavvu, light an upside down fire, fry meat and apples on the fire and enjoy the views of the snow-covered forest, the silence and beautiful virgin nature of the northern forests. Night temperature -12 C / 10.4 F.
I will also hone my bushcraft and survival skills in the wild in extreme conditions with a minimum of equipment.

Very tranquil. That's roughing it for sure. I remember roasting apples over an open fire. Makes them so sweet and changes the texture. Loved the slow roasted meat. New subscriber.

You are right, it is very difficult to survive in the forest without good equipment, I shoot a video for entertainment purposes, it pleases the eyes of the audience, apples baked on coals have a radically different taste, try it"

poor guy - must have been a cold night. No skills - no extreme. Would be a goner in the arctic winter. But cosy camping until the fire dies.

It was only a joke. I liked the video. I´ve done a lot of year round camping, and as a Finn I´m used to cold. I didn´t catch the temperature from the thermometer, but based on experience, I would say it was somewhere around -5 Celcius from what I could see before dark. Night temperature could have been lower or higher. But at visible day light and judging by the snow texture and sound - it was not very cold. I´ve walked to school at the age of 7 at -40 celcius. I can still remember it after 40 years. But tell me honestly - were you cold that night without a sleeping bag? @@AgeofBushcraft
