My blue heeler blood have the time of her life. She lovvvvves camping and going on hikes in the winter. Great source of body heat too on cold nights. Best foot warmer on earth lol😂

Made me miss my shepherd and heeler. My wolfpack. They've both passed but we had some grand adventures. Like my wifes first backpacking trip at 10,500ft It was the end of May and it snowed on us for 6 straight days and nights. I kept her warm and dry and even fed her fresh trout. I built a shelter over our tent and kicked old stumps out of the ground to keep the fire cranking the whole time. Mine and my dogs finest moment. The wife was and wasnt impressed. Lol

Probably not the warmest shelter, but well protected against wind and snow and a comfortable sleeping space. Love Agir the Wonder Dog.

The forest is like ours in the Polar Urals. The shelter of the branches is correct. We make a "nodya" out of thick logs. Two or three thick logs laid vertically and burning birch bark is laid between the logs. Such a vertical bonfire burns for 1.5 - 2 hours and greatly warms the shelter. Good luck, buddy.

Нас учили, чтобы спать зимой в лесу, нужно расчистить снег, развести на земле большой костер, расогреть землю, когда догорит, застелить место костра лапником и сверху накрыться. Спать будет тепло.

идея хорошая, так хоть потеплее, но на деле я так понимаю только очаг у поваленного корня дерева которое с песком или землей можно сделать хороший шалаш из лаптей и внток, чтоб подкладывя длинные бревна получать тепло от экрана, я спал так осень в + 10 в легенькой куртке каждый ча сдвигал бревна но поспал, хотя еще были комары и с еловых веток отскакивают угли, мне прожгло куртку
