SAFETY TIP for anyone who is planning a future DIY for a bathroom. Take an old rag & place it inside the drain hole for the toilet. Obviously make sure you can remove it when your ready to install the toilet again. If not you are allowing sewage gas into your home & that is not safe. That is something my Dad taught me a long time ago when I was a kid & helping him replace a toilet & flooring.

Girl who cares how big the light is! It's your home, do what makes you happy. I LOVE IT! you did awesome!

You have the most hard working and agreeable husband! He is a winner.

I like the larger light in the bathroom, it’s your home so no one should have a problem with your lighting choice.🙂

I wonder if any of you realize the "shims" are trash wood? Builders & carpenters use it when something isn't level & they are not straight nor precision cut. They are shoved into places to make them sturdy or level. They are not finished wood, they are not meant to be seen by the public. However, as someone stated earlier, it IS "Your" bathroom, do what you want, absolutely, just saying. Shims are made rough & odd sizes etc, again, not meant to be seen. Ty for the ideas though.👍

Too big of a light fixture where?? I cant love it enough!! It makes such a massive impact! Great job with this whole makeover as well!

Doesn't it though 🤔 must be nice to get a free.99, 1000 dollar, marble top vanity for your kid's bathroom 😒 other than a little promotion here and there, I really don't get the concept of "oh, you're a youtuber, let me send you free shit". People out there that can barely keep their plumbing together, spending thousands of dollars and companies don't want to help a registered 501c3, but they'll give shit away to ppl like this 😑 (plenty of ppl who think the same way i do, but I'm sure someone will get their panties in a twist)

that was my favorite project in a while. Very creative! I think i would add some brads to the corners of the frame with my airgun, but i might try and make it! It would also make a stunning headboard.

What a fabulous job you both did, such a fresh and luxury finish!! I think the statement light fitting was perfect, the bathroom is big enough to carry it off and it just adds that luxury feel. Oh my gosh Liz. This bathroom makeover is beautiful. My small bathroom is shaped like hers except my vanity is 60ish" long. Then the toilet then the tub/shower. I love the way you decorated your daughter's bathroom. I hope she like's it too!

Love how it turned out!

Omg! We removed tile from our entire downstairs last year. It was a much bigger project than we anticipated. Even had to replace our TV because our teenage son was helping and the mallet slipped out of his hand and landed in the tv screen in the next room. 😮 but in the end we got some beautiful new flooring. My husband and son did an amazing job. I only wish I would have seen your video before we started so we would know what we were getting into. (FYI our house is 3200 square feet so you can imagine what a job it was). Now I just have to figure out how to decorate it.. I have so design style!!!! I’m hoping to get some inspiration from your videos. Lol 😂

I like the over-the-top lighting. I mean, why not? Her new bathroom looks great!! God Bless!!!!!
