I wish you had kept the blackout fabric.. it would save fading plus its a thermal insulator keeping the room cooler ❤ plus that extra thickness would add a luxe feeling but they look smashing love from 🇬🇧

I'm an old lady (62) by comparison to your core audience, and I struggle with "influencers" who have little expertise and too much ego. Your content is so fresh, and warm, and genuine. As you explain the placement of each piece you demonstrate real expertise in design principles, yet they feel organic and personal. It really is extraordinary. When my cohort and I are talking about how the world has changed and everybody young wants to "influence " before they actually learn anything, I always mention you as the exception. You are so young. And so talented....gifted....and inspiring. ❤

Your talent and vision are mindblowing. Whenever you’re thrifting, I’m usually “hm, not really my style” “I’m not sure about this” “noooo”, but then, once the space is complete, I’m like “when can I move in???”. Incredible, as always!

I love how Drew can design a space that looks like someone has been living there for years and curated a beautiful space over time. So much respect for the incredible skill he has honed so masterfully.

I don't know if I'm super sensitive or what, but I nearly cried when I saw the completed room. It is just magnificent. Drew, your talent knows no bounds.

What's unique about using neutrals / all brown everything for decorating ?? 🤔 SO MANY KZreadrs decorate in the bland same color palette...

I never would have thought of slanted shelves. Such different ideas. I love the warm cozy vibe. The lamp the shelves, that pot, that tree, I love it. Drew is hysterical modeling? Just too cute.

I enjoy watching your journey of renovation. It's also a passion of mine. I would love to see the living room at night with the lamps on and the bookcase lit up. And I'm sure the room would look spectacular when the fire is going and the candles are glowing.

Drew buying this house has given us just endless amounts of content and i am so here for it.

Drew is soo darn talented! I don't remember any decorator catching my eye the way he has. This living room is the most beautiful I've ever seen!

I kept thinking about all the AD tour videos I have seen over the years. I struggle to think of more than a small few that compare to this. This is so creatively satisfying. The room is infused with warmth, character, layers of interest that all work cohesively as a design without feeling “produced”. It is such a joy to see originality instead of “and here’s the requisite, on trendy, very expensive _______ “ You’ve picked items because they fit with the aesthetic you want but also because they speak to YOU the person actually living in the space. And you have honoured the house which is also so refreshing after what feels like decades of “let’s gut the house and replace it with trends”. You’re a very talented designer, Drew. And I love the rosette details even more now that it’s finished 😊❤

What I like the most about your designs is how cozy they are. They always look like a huge family lives there. And also how these designs just transmit life! It’s as if each family member were discovering little bits and pieces of decor through their exploring of the world and adding their own touch to the space. I even asked my husband to look at the video clip and to my surprise he paused his WWII video to watch your living room and said it looked really good and admired your design ability….Amazing ! Namaste Drew…all the way from ancient India. You have God-given talent. The makeover is absolutely stunning. You have such a magnificent eye for picking up such unusual pieces. This place is so charmingly ecclectic and characterful and oozing with so much personality. What is more important is that you have aligned your decor to the architecture of your home. So this morning, I woke at 4 filled with anxiety! Not a good start to the day! Instead of taking a pill(which I don't have anyway) I decided to watch this video after pouring a glass of wine. I have said before that I am not a brown person, but your transformation of the living room, and the rest of the house, is pure, blissfull gorgeousness!!!🤩🤩🤩 SO HAPPY to see you are not a 'less is more' kind of person. I’m not sure why but at the very end of this amazing video when you’re just quietly showing us before and after very thorough look, I was so moved. My eyes watered up a little bit. I don’t do that. It’s just so moving it’s vintage it’s art deco it’s a little medieval and so incredibly moving. It’s masculine and dramatic at the same time. Yeah it’s also cozy and lived in, I love every nook and cranny and every detail that you added to it. I mean wow Drew there is nothing ordinary about this room or any part of it. I am really so move that I am emotional. It’s dramatic it’s warm. It’s cozy. it’s safe. I am feeling so many different things and I’m in love with this room. OK I’m in love with the house and your taste and styles. I love these old one-of-a-kind pieces that you find and I will say the name of that shop wrong but the one where you did the drop. Drew, love your pinch pleat curtain hack. It's nice to see that the pinch pleats are coming back. They add so much to the windows and make the drapes hang so beautifully. The pleater tape and pleater hooks are the easiest way to obtain this look. Love how the living room turned out...it's perfect for you! PS Pottery barn has a faux red oak tree on sale right now...

Your vision has come to reality with every room ~ and every trinket/thing you chose has made [all of your] spaces simply BEAUTIFUL. This turned out so well! It turned out so well it looks like this room has looked like this for the past 80 years but in the best way possible. Not a single thing looks out of place.
