Just my thoughts as I am going through the video - I think V shaped neck or style that shows just a bit of cleavage of top looks really good on you. Or if you have a few buttons loosened up on a shirt. And the tops that looked really good had a "wrap" or were tight on your waist and boobs but had puffy sleeves looked awsome too!

Greetings from England 🇬🇧 This has got to be the best wardrobe declutter I've watched...you are so down to earth and have a lovely figure of a true woman..I now want to go sort through my clothes and say goodbye to my fantasy items 👋 Think I'll watch this again for total motivation. After retiring from my marketing executive profession, I had soooooo many clothes! I decided to sort by category, starting with jeans. I found 28 pair of jeans!!! My decision criteria was: it had to fit comfortably and look good and fit in my new lifestyle. I ended with 6 pair. Then I moved on to shirts/blouses. Then slacks, dresses, skirts, blazets/jackets. I donated 12 black trash bags full. Another clothing declutter is needed, especially for slacks, sweaters and shirts. That'll happen after I declutter the rest of my house!

I started decluttering my stuff at 22, I'm 25 now. And giiirl, the amount of clothes that I eventually got rid off and that I only got cause they were on sale. I noticed there were tons of pieces I didn't really liked or didn't fit me. I'm glad that I'm making better choices when it comes to buy clothes

That duster IS your style! Build around this piece! It’s your cornerstone.

Great declutter! The thing that’s wrong with the beige coat is pockets right in the side seams. They always bunch up and add bulk in the hip. To avoid at all costs in all clothing (unless extra hip is what you want), imo. Look for clothing with pockets in the front if needed and without flaps on top. Much sleeker and comfier, I think.

I did the same thing while losing weight - I bought things just because they looked good on me but didn't really fit my lifestyle. Isn't it great to recognize it tho and realize it was just a part of the journey that helped us get to the next step. Same here - lost about 90 lbs over 2 years, then stress brought back arb 60. I'm now on the road back down again. Thanks for sharing your story and inviting us into your home! BTW - You are absolutely beautiful!

Yes that’s exactly it I was so excited to be losing weight that I was buying all kinds of random clothing items without really knowing who I wanted to be and how I wanted to dress style wise. Congrats on continuing the journey. It’s not easy but Best way to take care of ourselves.❤️🙏🏾

Hi Carla, you did amazing, as a plus size minimalist who have a lot of fluctuations of weight(I go from 42 to 46) I know it can be hard to build a good closet, here some things that I learn: 1. Know your style, it's very important, that eliminate 90% of wrong buys, my style it's feminine romantic. 2. Don't keep clothes that don't fit you, unless they very special, have good quality or you know they gonna fit ( I only keep 2 or 3 pieces). 3.Know your body and dress for that body. 4.invest on good quality classic pieces. More quality, less quantity. 5. Make your on rules, there's a lot of list of what to have, in my opinion the lists don't work for everybody. It's been 6 years since I started my journey on minimalism and finally I have a closet that I love everything. I think you're style it's very similar to mine, feminine and romantic.

You mentioned that you want to clarify your style. You appear to like a classic style. Go online and check that style out. Very helpful when buying. You’ll probably find that when you do, you’ll want to declutter baggy loose tops, sweaters, sweatshirts, etc. And you’re right, you deserve to look and feel good even when dog walking.
