The purge was major!!! I'm always in awe how many clothes one can have.. So intense and damaging to the environment. I love that you hand down your stuff and donate it :) I have those drawers for just my clothes, all seasons. When I want something new, it has to fit in one of those drawers. Its a great system to not get overwhelmed with all the stuff!

Lol the way I gasped at the jump scare at the beginning 😂 not judging because I used to have way too much. Love closet declutters because they are so motivational so I continue to stay on track with my no buy unless i love it or I’m replacing something 💜 and yes this made me feel better about myself thinking I was in the same situation a few years back

I just did a closet clean out a month or two ago when I added some work appropriate clothes but with summer around the corner I am noticing which items need replacing or can honestly just go. I try to do a declutter evaluation every year but my goal is to only have to toss/replace a couple items each season by the end of next winter. I don't like shopping so I want to have a quality wardrobe that doesn't need much change year to year. Ah moving into adult life. Many of my clothes before my massive declutter were at least 5yrs old and bought during high school so totally with you there.

This is amazing! It might be helpful to get shoe boxes/ drawer organizers from Amazon or Ikea and fold all your dresser clothes into squares and place them vertical in the organizers, Konmari style. I used shoeboxes for years, I had a ton of them and they are the perfect size. That way nothing ever gets buried and also when you take a couple things out, the drawer doesn't become a huge mess. Love it!
