Girly pop be careful taking her to dog parks! I think they are good for her to play with other dogs/socialization but there are other dog owners that are careless/bring in aggressive dogs. I have two dogs and they both got bit at the dog park as puppies then became reactive. So just something to be aware and not something you should completely avoid either! Also if you do want to try to crate training, put her food in the crate during her feeding time(s) and always leave the door open so she will associate it in a positive way. You can get a cover or a blanket for the crate so it can be nice and dark - that’s comfy for dogs! I crate trained both of my dogs and it’s rly helpful when i need for them to chill there once and a while. My dogs willingly go in the crate and take naps/chill in there all the time with the door open! One last thing: for potty training - even though its aggy, taking the pup out every 30-40 mins to go peepee/boo-boo and celebrating and rewarding them every time they do it outside will literally change the game. You can change the time and make it 1-2 hours then 3-4 hours and so forth as the weeks go by and you notice she is holding it. Then, you won’t need wee wee pads inside, she will know to go to the front door and ask to go out to do her bidness. It doesn’t matter if they don’t pee or booboo every time - it’s more of a habit thing with dogs. They will pick it up very fast. Iggy’s are the cutest and you will be the best mom!!!! I’m so excited for this content as I obviously love my pups/talking about this stuff. Welcome to dog mama hood girly! 🫶🏼🩷🩷🩷🩷

omg girl best advice that I have for you is that , I learned while having my puppy ( my dogs vet was shocked about it too! ) was having her sleep with a diaper on overnight and it trained her to not potty when it was night night time ! She would go do her business in the morning on her pad ! Also I would talk to her and guide her on where to go to potty ( her pad ) and whenever she would do it , I give her a treat every time so she learned that it was the right thing to do ! 🥹🥹🥹🩷

The crate is amazing for them, when our dog was a puppy, the crate was in my room and I laid next to her crate and played Disney lullaby songs. After the third night I was able to let her sleep along in the crate while the music played. She’s now 11 and it’s her safe place and goes in and out when ever she wants. If you don’t create train her your risking her not being able to do her potty business etc.

You might want to get booties since you have mostly hardwood flooring and she won’t have grip and she’s already really small and they are good for outside to save her from broken glass or random things if you walk her in public
