I am a Filipino and I appreciate that you incorporated pieces representing their heritage, and I love that you left the gallery wall for them to fill up with their "own" art pieces and finds.

At first, being German, I found her enthusiasm a bit too much, but having seen ALL of her videos, I'm now completely okay with pulling faces of delight over a brass knob. She's got great taste and completely transforms every room she lays her hands on. Plus, her happiness makes me happy. She's a happy maker and a happymaker, all in one. What's not to love? I love.

Yep, Irish here and it took me a while to get used to her enthusiasm but now I love it as it is just part of who she is and she is so much fun as well as being so talented and a bad ass woman.

I agree. I’m British. I am put off by over enthusiasm but Macenna and her friends and family seem very sincere and genuine which is inviting and makes them glow. I find it inspiring.

I don’t think a makeover reaction has ever made me cry…. It was a beautiful and perfect makeover! It’s simple, grownup, masculine, feminine,minimalistic, and so relaxing! AMAZING!!!!

The way your eyes are drawn up, because of the 1x3’s is amazing! It makes the space feel bigger and more airy!🥰

Chiaroscuro - the perfect balance of light and dark

Aaah feels so good to watch a makeover like the ones she used to do at the beginning! Even though I love watching her renovating her cottage, I missed that kind of content coz she's also so good at it! And this makeover definitely shows how she's evolved and how her style is even more mature now.

Your makeover of their bedroom is a perfect mix of their styles. Their enthusiasm is wonderful! 🏠 On another note, I watched a video on Farmhouse Living channel of a new build in Texas entitled the Timeless Home Tour. The owners/designers used many thrifted furnishings and decor for their new home. Check out the moody paint color in her library/office and her pantry that was color marched to her gorgeous range in the kitchen. The pantry!! Their kitchen is light but looks a bit like your home. Her chain gallery wall was stunning and looked like something you may like. The placement of a rug under her clawfoot tub was cool. Her laundry room/wardrobe area was stunning. Her attention to detail made me think of you. ♥

I love the topographical map! I would have never thought of using that type of an element as wall art! 😍😍😍😍

I love the boards she added to the walls and will definitely repurposing that idea. I actually used to own that headboard/bedframe MaCenna swapped in, but in dark grey. It's a nice, sturdy frame, albeit kinda heavy. Mine and my former roommate's cats demolished the top of the headboard, so I don't own it anymore but I do recommend it to folks. It's also great to lean against if you read in bed at night lol
