i have a fulcrum 2 and it is a great folder, the best i ever seen and i ever had ! very pleased at him !

It is true, Italy is not known as a major knife making capital of the world, perhaps with the exception of stilettos. However this brand does rise above that and is one of the few (actually the only one I can think of right now) that has a good reputation for quality and is made in Italy. The only thing against these knives is their price, but some of that is due to being an import. But carrying an Extrema Ratio will put you into a very small group of people and identify you as a connoisseur.

I used to frown upon Extrema Ratio because of the extravagant tacticool designs and steep prices. Untill I actually handled one. The craftsmanship and overall build quality are just ridiculous. I'm a fan now.

Do us a review on the Extrema Ratio COL MOSCHIN knife. That's the best combat knife in my personal opinion. Both knife and sheath are mind blowing.

@rocdimple It is primarily designed and known as a tactical knife, but that doesn't mean it couldn't do good work as a utility knife. I just would feel like you are buying a racehorse to pull a vegetable cart. There are lots of knives that would make good work/utility knives. It also depends on the type of work he does. Have you considered the Workchamp or Craftsman models from Victorinox?

This is a Rottweiler of a knife ! when the blade locks open its like a Rottweiler dogs' jaw shutting tight ! Nothing can move it !!!
