Extensive Sevr Broadhead Review - Real Life Testing

(SEVR COUPON CODE: SGHOLMES) I simply love testing new gear and had the pleasure of putting Sevr's Titanium 2.0 to the test this past deer season. In this video, I cover 3 real life results as well as why I fell in love with this broadhead. #sevrbroadheads #bowhunting #deerhunting #archery ‪@SevrBroadheads‬

Using the Sevr 2", 100 grain with a Tenpoint Turbo S1. This is by far the best mechanical out there. Took one 10 point buck, and two does using them. All three deer didn't go more than 60 years and dropped. The buck and one doe were taken with the same broadhead. Unfortunately it hit a rock when exiting on the doe and messed up one blade. But they have replacement blades. Since then, the 4 other guys I hunt with have all now bought the Sevr 2". Best mechanical broadhead on the market.

In more than 50 years of bow hunting I have always used two blade fixed with a few having bleeders but several months ago I tried the 1.5 Sevr on pigs. Most were in the 150# or less class. When hit just behind the shoulder shield plate they would mostly give me a pass thru. Now here’s the deal. I only draw 61-62 #’s at 28”. Arrows are Black Eagle Carnivore at 462 grains. I have hit the plate and still get through it and into the far side and a few the broadhead was protruding out the far side. Blood trails weren’t necessarily any better than my fixed blade hits. The part I like is I can use either the Sevr or fixed blade heads without doing anything to my setup. I only test flight to 60 yards and these Sevr heads hit right with the other. I am surely going to use a Sevr 1.5” on a couple of does at least this fall. And hopefully a coyote or bobcat.

Used 2" Rocky Mountain Gators and gator xp's for 25 years. Always loved the big cutting area. When Rocky mountain went under i was so happy that the Ulmers decided to keep making them and improved the head with locking blades and sharpening them on both sides. Then Easton took them over and the Sevr brand was created and made a great head even better! So cool that they build them in 1.5, 1.75 and 2 inch cuts! And if you really want penetration the build the 150 Robusto as well. I've been preaching the benefits of the rear deploying floating blades for over 30 years now. Such an awesome proven head. Great review, I new in advance though that you were gonna love them! 😉👍👍 Lusk' torture tests with them even blew me away. I did not think they would survive being shot into the concrete block at the end, and they did with flying colors! Hell Rage's were flying apart shooting into the cardboard box penetration test😂😂😂😂 what a joke! Again great honest real world test/review. 👍👍

I started using the Sevr Robusto with a crossbow last year after using fixed heads and a compound since 1988. I shot a mature doe in Illinois quartering to hard. Hit it in the brisket in front of the left shoulder and the bolt went through center of the heart and passed through straight through the vitals exiting the liver on the opposite side. The blood trail was tremendous and she went about 30 yards. I’m hoping to get some more experience with this head this year.

Very thorough video and well put together. Thank you for the input on the Sevr Titanium 2.0 broadheads. I had some in my cart waiting to buy, but this review instilled confidence to move forward with the purchase. How many shots do you get out of one silicone band? Is it one and done when firing the full function of the broadhead, but multiple when in practice mode, since the blades don’t deploy?

I shot a buck a couple of years ago with the Sevr 1.5. It was a 32-yard, hard quarter to shot, so I put the pin right on the front part of the shoulder. The broadhead blew through the scapula and exited at the rear ham and buried in the ground. The deer died within 50 yards and the only damage to the broadhead was a slight nick in one blade, which could have been from a bone or a rock in the ground. I will say I was confident the broadhead would perform in that situation as I had done tests earlier that year where it outperformed some solid one-piece fixed blade heads in durability.
