Du Toit was massive. That tackle on Barrett after Handre's drop goal attempt was a pure destruction. Such a key moment, I think that was going to be an AB try if he didn't smash Barrett's momentum.

Well. It was al bollox call for the red. Should have been the same for SA in the second half then. Refs really wanted SA to win this. That is what they will and are saying. And they are right about it. No telling what the result would have been with a complete AB Team but this leaves a very nasty mark again. In no way is that the SA Teams fault. I am a huge football fan and I've never understood nor pay much attention to Rugby. But since maybe 2 years ago, I started with clips, then highlights, then full matches. I used to live in Hounslow so Twickenham was close by, unfortunately I never watcched a match. Now, I am starting to love rugby more, I love how classy, respectful, well behaved yet brutal, fast, very physical also very technical. I hope Rugby catches on more and get popular among the youths and the masses.

Absolutely! Not a shadow of a doubt. It should have been red and a long term ban. For all the skill that NZ has in their rugby pool, they have always struck me as one of the dirtiest teams in terms of bad spirited tactics. Like how they used to deliberately slow down the game in the 90s or intentionally collapse scrums for resets when a team was attacking in their 22, or take frequent water breaks to break the momentum of teams, or McCaws subtle breaking of laws, or influencing of referees to red card players for nothing (thinking Bismarck du Plessis tackling Dan Carter) and here we have Frizell intentionally injuring an opponent to weak the opposition. All other things remaining equal, the Boks were worthy winners of the final based purely on that dirty move by Frizell. Sadly the ABs have persistently tarnished their image over the years. In terms of dirty play, I put them in the same league as Argentina.

Can the rugby world just wake up and smell the roses. This is the best team ever. Put the 2015 nostalgia aside. We are living in a special time where a team, full of injuries, took the hardest path ever to a final. And won it against their rivals. (Who everybody thinks they are the best even aftet the final, which I find ridiculous) If that does not mean you are the best in the world or the best team ever then I don't onow what does. I don't have that much respect for them after it became quite clear that Bongi was targeted. Played that part repeatedly just to make sure I'm not smelling my socks. It's all too obvious that it was deliberate - no one pushing Frizell, no one pulling Frizell, he was fully balanced on his feet, not rushing, no need to go onto the side of the breakdown. Just pure deliberate actions - plain and simple. No respect for thugs.

South Africa winning all three knockout round matches by one point, should be a valuable life lesson to people. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. Some people will tell you that if you play great and come up just short, it is much better than getting blown out by 50. That is complete nonsense. Winning is all that matters, regardless of if it's by one or fifty, and losing by one is the exact same as losing by 50.

The Springboks have won 4 World Cups, the most of any nation, with New Zealand in second place with 3. In this World Cup the Springboks took the hardest route to the victory of any nation in history, playing all 5 other teams in the top 6 World Rugby rankings. South Africa performed with an 80% win ratio against the other top 6 sides with Ireland in second place at 66%. But SA was the only team that played all 5 of their counterparts in the top 6. Games against top 6 teams in the world: South Africa - played 5, won 4 Ireland - played 3, won 2 New Zealand - played 3, won 1 France - played 2, won 1 Scotland - played 2, won 0 England - played 1, won 0

With all due respect, what were some the All Black fans complaining about though? These people missed their penalties and conversions. They didn’t finish their dinner, simple as that. You can’t blame the ref for that. They simply lost on margins, out of their own doing. They should just congratulate the opponent and move on.

Why should we care? Last World Cup, we beat England 32 - 12, and still they criticized us. The pundits practically handed this World Cup to the NH teams. We the fans KNEW SH teams would come out tops. World rankings mean nothing to a world cup performance, so go figure how the pundits got it so wrong. After all, we're all making an emotional choice right? Of course yes. If the pundits knew their stuff as they're expected to, they would have called in favour of SH teams historical performances: SH = 8 (now 9) to NH = 1. Their math never maths when it comes to SA. So Saffas best chill and enjoy our B2B win!❤🇿🇦

Cricket, yebo yes! They need to get out of the chokers room though. I really hope they do win it this time - as long as they don't have to bat second and face spinners - that's their downfall at the moment.

Man I still remember the Boks losing 57-0 to NZ and then 38-3 to Ireland in 2017. Who would’ve thought they’d go on to win back-to-back world cups!! That’s quite some turnaround!

As a South African, I canot remember that I've ever seen the ABs so ill disciplined. Foster clearly lacked managment skills in this department. We've now beaten them twice with 14 men due to severe ill discipline wow😮😮😮

I don't think you can blame Foster for poor split-second decisions made by Cane and Frizzell on the field. Don't get me wrong, those cards were deserved imho, Frizzell's looked very bad to me. Anyway Foster's gone now, let's see if Razor makes a difference. Can't help feel for the guy, everybody's expectations on him are so high, he's on a hiding to nothing. I wouldn't go so far as to say the WC result would have been different if ABs had 15 men. Boks are expert at doing whatever it takes to win tight matches by taking the crumbs that are on offer, they proved that 3 games in a row. And let's not forget they were down to 14 men for 17 mins themselves. Congrats to SA from NZ, you guys were worthy winners.

The current diverse Bok representation will inspire the talent in 62 million people to become the greatest rugby nation on earth. They already have more Web Ellis trophies than NZ and weren’t permitted to participate in 1987 and 1991.

What a match! These two teams are on another level! The last 5 world cups have only been won by these two sides. We have not seen another team win it for 20 years. I think it's fair to say that the Springboks and All Blacks are very good rugby nations who clearly know how to win world cups, whereas the rest of the world are simply not up to it. I heard a lot of people saying that Ireland or France would win it. They clearly know nothing about the game, as the French have never even won a single world cup and the Irish are still yet to make it past the quarterfinals 🤣
