Exposing Evil in Education [Featuring Jessica Tapia]

Ойын-сауық

Can you be terminated from your job for speaking the truth? That’s what happened to wife, mother, and former public school teacher Jessica Tapia while she was working in a Southern California district. "I had allegations put on me that the students crafted based off the Christian, conservative views they discovered that I hold-and they were outlandish," Jessica told Pastor Allen on this podcast. To keep her job, the district insisted she refer to students by their preferred pronouns, allow students to use bathrooms that aligned with their gender identity, and refrain from talking about her beliefs-at school and on social media. She knew following the district’s orders would mean denying her faith, so she refused to comply. Hear what happened when Tapia stood firm on the truth she knew and boldly upheld her biblical values-even when it came at a cost.

I'm so glad to see that this topic is being publicized. This nation is a nation of Christians and we need to no longer take this sitting down. Keep bringing these topics forward so people can see what actually is being done. This give us a way to discuss but also find solutions. Amen Love you all

This is so sad, so many states and school districts are doing this same thing, I live in an area that this haven’t happened yet, I’ve been a substitute teacher for 15 years, the day the school tells me to stop living and sharing my faith, I will quit, she has been so brave! 🙏

Pastor Allen, I live in Lakeland, FL. I met a couple who are both teachers, wife is an elementary teacher, husband is at a private school. Hearing their stories made me so sad for them & the children. She said that she spent most of her time dealing with behavior problems, not teaching. They are both believers in Jesus. I took your advice about making short prays. I asked them if I could pray for them, the husband said as long as it was done in Jesus name, and they would pray for me. We made a circle and prayed. I am thankful for your advice because I am not too sure of praying for strangers. What I do know is that the Holy Spirit gave me the words. PTL

I ran into a similar situation in 12 step group with a man who chose sitting beside me. Two months later he asked me apologetically if he would be wrong to admit his sexual orientation in his departure speech? Able to reassure him we'd heard enough it was already known but his problems fit with our 12 step group support making whatever choices had brought him to our group, knowing he must make choices. Thank you for supporting the Godly world-view

God bless Jessica It is so encouraging and refreshing to see such a young person stand up for her belief in the Lord Why wouldn't a parent (whatever their believes) want a person like Jessica teaching their children and being a role model in uprightness Is that Not what we want for our children before we release them into the world and a culture that is becoming more and more evil I would rather my child come to someone like Jessica for answers than someone that has an evil agenda towards our children. Wake up people and stand and fight with the Jessicas of the world. What are you afraid of That your child might grow up with a moral character What is so bad about that And Pastor Allen it is always a joy and encouraging to hear you stand up and speak truth Even If we say ouch Someone needs to speak to our hearts and turn us back to the Lord. May God bless and keep you as you go about The Father's business

What is it going to take for the Christians and the churches to come together as one and peaceful stand against this kind of behavior. Where are the Christian parents and Christian students at. When are the churches going to get involved in the school board meetings. Why can't we invite people running for our school board to the church for a Q and A. Why are we always waiting down stream to catch the wounded . We have to look at the world we are living in and make some changes righteous righteous decisions

Back in the early 2000's, I was almost fired because I used 1 Corinthians 6:9b-10 as my screen saver on my computer. HR wanted me gone. But, when I accused them of recruiting employees for membership into the Employee Rainbow club through the company email system, they backed down. But, unfortunately, they made it clear that I could not use verses like this anymore. I was eventually let go from the employer and believe that this incident played a big role in the decision to let me go. Even though I cannot definitively prove it.

My family and I work for public schools, I can relate to these issues, its not just the teachers but the support staff that works in schools too. We have seen the changes that are coming every year, teachers and staff members leaving because of the things that are going on. Things that they tell us we can and cannot do. I've talked to other Christians in my school and wondering how long we can work in this environment before they try to totally silence us. Its very disheartening. :( But It does not stop me from having a bible on my desk, and having a Christian calendar in plain view, I don't hold back from talking to people or praying with them, neither does my family.

I had to forgive my school districts with the teachers and bureucracies myself. I was an Iterrant OT for iver 23 plus years when I felt many teachers were misinterpreting recommendations I made either on purpose to get me out or because they really misunderstood. But rather than tey to work it out between us they'd go over me and complain to my co-op. I finally had enough and quit. If they want you out they find a way even if you have tenure. I did finally forgive them and I'm sort of glad because covid would have been bad especially for me and now the lgbtq++ religion I would have been kicked out anyway. Students behaviors were getting bad then and they're much worse now. But I did wish at the time I could commit self deletion.

Teacher Enoch Burke in Ireland ended up in prison and still remains there. This started for refusing to use pronouns contrary to the actual birth gender of the child. He was dismissed from the school where he worked for several years. He stood outside the school where he worked and refused to be banished. It is an ongoing scenario pray for Enoch still in prison.
