I play football. Linebacker. 9th grade, I couldn’t play due to injuries. 10th grade, COVID took away our season. I’m in 11th grade, recovering from an ACL tear back during the spring. I’m set to fully recover next month, a few weeks before my season ends. I’m sitting the rest of it out because I know I won’t be playing either way due to how many weeks of practice I’ve had to sit out. I’m giving myself a head start on the offseason so I can go all out my senior year, this video looks like some good stuff, gonna come back to this as soon as I’m able to and comfortable with doing stuff like this. Thanks for the video man, people charge hundreds for these types of lessons and you’re giving them for free💯🙌
Hey Dane, I found this channel about 2 months ago and I wanna say as baseball player and athlete this content is amazing for any athlete at any level. Love the channel man, keep it up big bro✊

Hurdles are definitely a different animal. I always thought I was strong and athletic, but my friend took me to the tracks last weekend where he has hurdles available. I almost did a faceplant on the third hurdle! LOL!

All of these workouts are amazing. But it comes down to you. It comes down to if you are actually gonna put in the time to do them.
Solid top uce 👌🏾
Hey Coach, I think a key factor for the hurdle exercise is that he is working on elasticity when he is jumping. & a big premise for this is the Achilles. Which is why the man jumps so high. PJF Performance talks about it a lot. He’s a basketball guy.
been watching a lot of your videos lately and learning lots, but I havent seen any mention of partial squats (unless I missed it) what are your thoughts on implementing them for athletes?
Im training for my provincial/national skeleton team and this is perfect for my training (they do a 60 meter sprint but time up to the 30 as their primary test)

Sweet shirt, you should make a few videos for Rugby which is the fastest growing sport in the USA!
Good page
Super sir video
That was Awesome!! “ like a f@&king cat”
Coach coming in clutch with the shirts he’s got the Fiji jersey is it rugby ? Love your videos I’m playing flag football in a league I joined been able to use the video bcz I been wanting to gain speed n explosiveness I lost over the years powerlifting

oh yeah 😎
Practice left handed layups (basketball) will help not dominant side. ALSO take a look at QL area (right side) may be weaker than left !
Fire camera person
The way you introed your hurdle jumps I thought they were going to be worse! At first glance it seemed that on your non dominant leg reps your knees kinda shoot out to the sides a bit, making those reps not seem as smooth. But you've got bounce big man💪🏽🏐

Where can I get that power elastic band that you used for the quarter squat jumps??

Any tips for cheerleaders?
do you think using a sandbag or something could substitute for some of these things
Where can I get these kind of hurdles?
How many days a week would a 13 should lift, or do explosive workouts? My kid is 13 5’11 170lb. He does wrestling and wants to play football
Can I do the quarter squats with just a barbell ?
Wow you wearing Fiji 🇫🇯 Vinaka 😍
Dunno if I've ever seen the XPT in any gym around my area, but I notice it kinda mimics the snatch grip power jerk movement. Does that seem like something that could be alternative if you have the mobility (which I do)?
@kutz206

The letting go being the last rep with bumper plates, similar to dropping a regular snatch
@GarageStrength
2 жыл бұрын
@@kutz206 this could be a solid alternate, and this is very similar to dropping a barbell to the ground
Hey dane, in your 12 week sprinter strength program are there any sprintings or is it more of a building speed through weight training (lifting weight)?
@GarageStrength

There is a healthy combination. We work in sprint variations and different types of bounding with our weight training!
