"EXPLOSIVE!" NEW 12s ARRMA MEGA Kraton with Max4 70125!!!

Huge thanks to M2C Racing for creating another Monster!!! Guys asked and they delivered. Finally a chassis to accommodate the massive Hobbywing Max4 70125 combo and experience power like never before. Happy 4th of July to all my RC Brothers out there!!!

Running 42/39 gearing. (Sounded like I said 40T Saga Custom pinion)😂. She could probably take a smaller spur no problem. Still waiting for my programmer to turn up the punch and BEC. Steering was a bit sluggish at the stock 6V. Still running an older Hobbystar 6912 70kg Brutal torque servo that is rated for 7.4V. Lastly, always tape your connectors. I partially fried a QS8 when it came mostly unplugged. This is a lot of voltage. Don't be that guy. Gorilla tape for the win. 🍻

That's so crazy, on the pavement it just sounds like it's wheel spinning, extremely fast

I ve done it on the qs8 also. The Xlx2 1100 combo in the k8 had some arcing marks inside just slightly from being touch to loose. Swapped it out to be safe, just spread the prongs open from the center with a small allen key. its like fighting a bear to get them off if you adjust it too much 😂😅

Hi Rick. What pinion and spur gear must i use on my kraton v5 with stock electronic, if i want to use wheels that are 11 cm wide and 17 cm high? Can i use orginal pinion and spur gear? Hope you can help:) Maybe tell me what size i must use?:)))

@@tittentei7331I usually recommend a 16T Robinson Racing (#1216) pinion with the stock spur and stock 2050kv motor. That does great with stock sized Kraton wheels. If the wheels are much taller or heavier, you may want to gear down to a 15T. Truck comes with a 12T which is very conservative. I don't recommend larger wheels. Too much stress on the gears and other components.

That was a super awesome shakedown run Rich those 57’s on the asphalt sounded wicked nice to see that they held up. Might have to give them another shot. running 12 S is just insane. Runs cool unless you get ridiculous with gearing. Thanks for the mention brother👍 what an awesome truck and that endbell support that M2c came up with and how they stiffened the front of that chassis is perfect for that big can motor anyway brother awesome run happy July 4th 💪💪👍✌️👊

Thanks so very much Brother Aldo 🤗. I was chopping at the bit to build the Mega after seeing you rip yours 😱🚀🚀. What a friggin Monster!!! 12s is ridiculous, but I'm getting good run times and great temps considering it's hot and dry as hell here 😂. The 57's seem great so far. Just avoiding any major diffing out and trying not to get too crazy with the throttle. The end bell support and steel front stiffener is genius 👌. Huge props to Mitch and Avery once again and big thanks to you Bro for all the tips with this build 👊. Waiting on a programmer to advance the punch and BEC. Not sure you can adjust it manually. Hope you had a great 4th of July!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊

Thanks my Brother 🤗. Tires are a fickle thing. Some are glued proper, some aren't. Proline has stepped it up from what I can tell. My original MX57's (solid hex) had good beads, but busted a hex after the 2nd hard bash. These newer style with removable 24mm hexes have held awesome 💪. No bead or hex issues after multiple hard runs. That said, it's good practice to check your beads before each run. These tires go through hell and deserve a little attention. I add glue anytime I find a rock tear or blemish at a bead, but this set hasn't needed anything.
