Exploring Trevor Railway Station - abandoned disused closed - Wrexham Llangollen - Trevor Basin

A little look around the overgrown remains of Trevor Railway Station, which was on the GWR Ruabon to Barmouth line. It served the small village of Trevor and lies to the town of Llangollen.
The station once had a substantial number of sidings and the area has now been made into a public walkway. It was open between 1862 and 1965.
Also included in the video is a look at the nearby Trevor Basin on the Llangollen Canal and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage Site. Filmed 28 July 2021

Looking at this you would never guess how industrialised the area around Trevor was it’s just a shame that the railway closed.
