Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition is very cool. Glad you worked on this video to celebrate its 20th anniversary! Analog Recorder is great, but it does have limitations. Photo Story is interesting, and so are the Windows Movie Maker 2 add-ons. Nice job!

It’s the most aesthetically pleasing version of windows imo. So simplistic and easy to use. it just works and does what you want it to.

@@prebenjaeger Aero was great! but it feels more like...minerals. hard, glossy, almost cold. almost clinical. not something to "live" with. still miles better than the current flat design tho.

MJD did you missed the Windows 95 Plus! for kids？Microsoft published two plus! pack for Windows 95 actually. And this Plus! pack's all programs were included in Windows XP Media Center Edition which MJD didn't mentioned. I think the Vista Ultimate Extras was the successor of the Plus! pack.

If you're a fan of the Alien franchise, quadrilogy is definitely a word! And i really miss the Win98 / XP days of figuring out cool and aggravating ways to personalize your computer!

I had the plus pack for 98, loved it... loved all the themes and Screensavers ... never realized there were packs like that for XP and MCE, though

I love the Dancers, The Tango is sensual. Another fave is Audio Converter. All these came inbuilt with my Dell Media laptop installed with XP Media Centre. I didn't have the Analog Recorder though :(

I know how that feels. I use my subs feed to watch nearly everything, but with over 500 subs I'm two weeks behind, and of course nearly isn't all, so the recommendations should probably be hidden behind a brick wall.

I sold computers and software in the late 90's early 2000's and a lot of time they would sell boxed software that had nothing inside but a disk in a case of sleeve, so that the box would have a larger presence on the shelves to catch people's eye, then when the software price was reduced, they would recall the remaining items, un-box them and sell them for cheaper....

My dad told me the horror story that he got a computer virus when he brought the plus product years ago, I think it was the 95 plus edition as he had a windows 95 machine back around in 1995! A much disappointment for him as he wasted all his money on a software later to find out it was infected after installation!

Only thing that was more of a pita was the palm pilot sync software with outlook.

There is also Windows Vista Ultimate extras and I wonder if it is possible to get Windows Vista Ultimate extras to work on Windows 11

Interesting. Crazy auto removal on upgrade? Wikipedia "Windows Ultimate Extras have been discontinued as of Windows 7 and the operating system also removes all installed extras during an upgrade from Windows Vista Ultimate."

Miss the plus packs, they really added something neemw and customizable. The One for xp wasn't like that
