What an amazing reconstruction/restoration of the Golden Hinde. The original rotted out - understandably - but the salvaging of any part of the ship is brilliant. They did a beautiful job of it. it looks weathered like the original. Beautiful ship indeed. Loved the fighting stations, the gun deck, and the strategy room, and the poop deck. And I can understand your having to duck, crawl, and waddle through this short height clearance being so tall yourself. This was the day when England ruled the seas with these fabulous battle ships. So this is your first tour. Good for you. I enjoyed this lecture today. Blessings.

I think 🤔 this was the boat that my parents saw when it was quite new out of the sea with their historical society. I thought that you must have had a problem with the height difference. You have found that at a lot of boats you have been on. I would not have liked to be on this boat at all. It must have been too uncomfortable if you were a regular sailor. They have made a beautiful job of it. It really gives you the feel of the boat.

I think is good idea to make replica and not try to save an old old ship in bad condition.
