We have them here in Western Massachusetts as well, but they are very elusive. In 66 years, i have only seen one in the wild. I would bet that many more have seen me in the woods. I have seen many more deer, black bear, fox and just about every other animal you can think of.

I loved this documentary! There’s not many out there that depicts the beautiful but endangered Iberian Lynx. Plus it shows a lot of the other fauna & flora in this enchanted looking Bohemian & Bavarian Forest.

Lynxes are cats that constitute the genus Lynx, all lynxes have tufted ears and short tails, there are four living lynx species, the most basal of the four living lynx species is the Iberian Lynx (Lynx pardinus), then followed by the Eurasian Lynx (Lynx lynx), with the most recent split being between the Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) and the Red Lynx or Bobcat (Lynx rufus).

Great work on this! Such a beautiful region. When he mentioned the Lynx's ear tufts I thought of a cats whiskers and their purpose.. then pictured a Caracal. Both kitties are built to "pounce".. A "One Shot Hopping, Small Prey Shopping Kangaroo Kat!!" ya.. ok.. Anyway, figure the long tufts warn them before committing to the wrong way out of a tight spot. Those long legs could make them the cork in a bottleneck... sorry.. again.. So, bad kitty jokes aside.. Tufts adapting same role as whiskers? Always adapting to be the Purrfect Predator... 🙄😁 🐈‍⬛ Be Well!! 😀

I work on the fraser river and a see many bald eagles and hawks...its very cool.

@@TheDaddyNick no, you can absolutely watch 4k videos without a subscription. I've watched 4k videos with and without Premium. It's up to the content creator whether they record/upload videos in 4k. They probably just made a mistake when they said it was 4k when it's really 1080p

To think we have trappers going after them killing these butifull cats for there fur its a wonder there is any left to film in the wild

A not untypical documentary wherein the so-called background "music" is so loud it frequently drowns out the narrator. Perhaps the creators of these documentaries are incapable of comprehending unwanted sound is noise. 👎It appears to be too tricky a concept that we are here to learn about the subject at hand and not be treated to a fucken' concert. Off to find something of a more professional nature that treats adult viewers' ears with more respect.

I also think this video was stolen from the original creator and uploaded to this channel. He probably uploaded it at a reduced quality than the original. I know that i have seen this film before, but not on this guy's channel.

The editing is all over the place. Jumps around a lot. Too much narration.
