ABOUT:
Hi! I’m Valeria, and I’m a Ukrainian expat and digital nomad, currently living in Italy. I first came here without speaking the language and being totally unprepared, but pretty sure this is gonna be an adventure of a lifetime! I love discovering Italian culture, Italian people and, of course, Italian food. I'm a full-time content creator, so when I'm not making travel videos, I'm taking photos, writing and creating artworks. Studying is another passion of mine, and currently I’m finishing my Masters degree at the University of Bologna. Here I post regular travel vlogs, tips on expat life, moving abroad, personal growth and self-esteem as a woman living abroad, so hop on and welcome on board!

Thank you for introducing us to Cremona! Definitely a gem that is not on the radar of most people visiting Italy. You are right, these small towns are not to be missed! ❤

Thanks for this video about one of the many lesser-known small gems of Italy. Funnily enough, despite not living too far from Cremona, I’ve never visited it, and it’s a shame, because… I play a bowed instrument (the double bass)! all my life I’ve heard stories about this beautiful town and its excellent luthiers! Magari ci vado uno dei prossimi weekend! Grazie per l’idea e il suggerimento! Ciao!

Grazie mille, mi fa molto piacere ❤️ Cremona sicuramente è una città che consiglio visitare, anche se è piccola, ci sono tanti posti interessantissimi, e poi la città stessa è davvero bella!

Thank you for showing us Cremona. I am new to your channel, and I love to see the hidden gems in Italy. Have been in Italy a lot, before. I would prefer a little village/town to stay there next time. I am fond of Northern parts of Italy (and down to Rome), where I had connections earlier in my life. Thank you for telling us the history of these beautiful places. 😊

I'm from Cremona and I confirm that the Pierrot ice cream shop has extremely rude and embarrassing rules: a few years ago I was walking with my daughter, who was still a child, and she asked me for an ice cream: I bought her an ice cream and then sat down at the table.. .. after a few seconds a waiter came and told me that with such a small ice cream I couldn't sit there.... so I asked my little girl, who was very disappointed, to choose the largest bowl of ice cream they had on the menu and I ate the small ice cream that she had initially chosen....it was August, the city was almost deserted and the tables in the bar were almost all free...truly incredibly rude behaviour...I do not recommend this place and I will never set foot there again... it's a place only for unaware tourists and cool locals... or those who think they are

Hello again are you studying history in Italy? Do you know what universities provide graduate level history courses in English?

  • @DramaticallyExpatic

Hi, I didn't major in History, but virtually every Italian university has graduate-level History courses. I advise you to check the universities you're interested in, it is always stated on their website (or even better, the course's website) if there's an option to study in English or if the course is held entirely in English - I'm not sure about what universities in particular have these options, but English-language graduate degrees are very common in Italy. Best of luck!
