This was really interesting. I love old churches and it is so sad to see so many abandoned.
That’s Saint Martin’s Church that should’ve never been closed, it is a beautiful church and the strain glass windows Very beautiful. What a waste of a beautiful church .
Wow this is an outstanding documentary on a abandoned churches in Chicago all my life I’ve lived in and around Chicagoland and I didn’t know there was that many abandoned churches in Chicago. Also so many sad stories about abuse that went on too long .
what a shame that such beautiful churches and history is left to rot. Just the stained glass windows alone should be used for something cause you don't see that kind of artwork anymore
Well done video. I'm originally from Racine, just a few waves away. The church I grew up in is also closed. It's sad too, so many beautiful buildings going downhill. I came across you accidentally. I was hesitant to open up to someone named "ruin road"! But I enjoy "Freakography" all the time, and does he explore some ruins! So I enjoyed this video. I even joined. Thanks. I looks forward to more even though I get a bit bummed at seeing decay of once gorgeous buildings.
