Another episode from my time in Singapore. I don't know why but these days I do enjoy shooting at night a lot. Maybe it's because of the Leica Q2 Monochrom and its insane low light performance or it's the fact that in these tropical environments it's easier to shoot at night with no harsh sunlight and less heat? Whatever it is, here is another episode shot at night. The second part of the video was filmed a day later after the meet-up we had in Singapore. We explored some cool locations and it was pretty epic.

Thank you for that. Have you ever thought about sitting in a corner in a coffee shop or tavern and photographing the customers or passersby? The chances of a one-on-one confrontation might be a bit higher.
Chinatown in Singapore will be busy after Christmas this year, when the Chinese New Year decorations go up.
Thanks for sharing the settings . Might be good as a little note next to when you show an image. I’ve just got my first ever Leica (🎉) - the Q Typ 116 - and have found I really have to push the ISO for night time and it’s rather noisy. The other day, I was at 1600, with f1.7 and 1/125 - I’m sure there’s a better way 😮

Hey. Great video, love the images. I've just bought the Leica M2 monochrom. You mention using the centre focus then recompose to take the image. I'm struggling that the focus then jumps to something new when i do this. I'm REALLY missing my back button focus!!!! :(

What are you using to record your POV?
when shooting in the street using the Q2, would you mind let me know what AF mode do you prefer, multi-field or field? if you use field AF, do you usually keep the focus point at the center or move it around as needed. thank you. I myself prefer manual focusing but auto focusing does help especially in low light situations. I’ve enjoyed all of your video episodes. thanks

so funny how you have to go up peoples faces and take a shot quickly before they look into the camera
