Exploring Nordic Wilderness with a Stranger | Roadtrip trough Finland
Happy summer!
Here's what I managed to capture on a roadtrip to the north in the beginning of June. It was so amazing seeing old and familiar but also new magical places. All three waterfalls, which I visited in the autumn of 2022, were full of water and the yellowing and dying leaves were now green and lush instead.
Up in the north I got to walk a hike I've long dreamed of walking since seeing lots of photographs of it on instagram. The views did not disappoint. How beautiful Kuusamo is. It's one of my new favourite places in Finland.
During this journey I also had some company. A new face. Me and Emma started going to the same courses in school this spring and we spent a little time together. Right away I got a feeling of wanting to know her and so when this opportunity came up I asked her if she wanted to join me. While on the road we got to know each other a lot better, both mentally and spirituality, but we also learned how the other responded in different situations and scenarios. A very strange way to get to know someone, but a very interesting one. Thank you Emma

I find your picnic tables perhaps uniquely Finlandian? Never seen round looking wheel like structures used as standard (for I have seen them in a number of your videos) offerings! I think what I like about you is that you aren't obsessed with fame but more focused on just enjoying yourself in the moment (which is much better than fame) Keep on enjoying!

The round stone wheels are actually from a watermill but now reused as picnic tables, the wooden ones are more commonly used. 😊 Thank you for your heartwarming words!

Absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing this trip. I was just in Ireland and the evenings were lovely and long. I imagine it hardly got dark at all as far north as you were. Can I ask where you learned English? It's hard to believe you could gain that degree of fluency in a classroom. I hope the rest of your summer is as good as its beginning.

Ireland is on my bucketlist, must have been beautiful with all of the green hills😍It was very bright outside all night long, there were maybe two hours without sun there in the beginning of June. Oh thanks, I wouldn't say my English is any better than other people from here but I learned most of my English trough school, but me watching TV-series and KZread videos has probably contributed to my understanding of the language. I've also read a lot of English books lately and I've really enjoyed that. And then of course I've gotten to speak it a lot, one of my best friends is from Australia, we met in high school when he was on an exchange year in Finland. So I suppose all of those things have contributed to my fluency.😅 Happy summer!🌻
