G'day Bowly, Nice Red and longtail tuna. The bragg mat is tastefully done but yet to be used.🎣👌

Thanks matey.
You need to get yourself a needle (hypodermic) on the boat for those floaters. Insert behind the pectoral fin and let the air release. It's a must have for any recreational fisho - more so bait fisherman.

Thanks mate
If you walk away from the helm while underway and for whatever reason trip/stumble off the front deck, that boat is leaving you for dead.
Did you have your outboard idling while fighting those fish that got sharked? That’s like a dinner bell to them!
Hey bud, crackin vid. Sorry when you say barra trauma. Dont you pop a small hole in the belly to release the gases in the fish? I've seen a lot of others do it and the fish swim off. Wasn't sure if it gave the fish another chance at life or not that's all... Not having a dig lad. Just a question. 🤙🏽🤙🏽

Hey mate, yes venting a fish releases those gases and they can swim down but it’s hard to know if they will actually survive especially in that depth. The thinner and smaller the hole the better as it will be easier for them to heal over, that’s why they have venting needles which are fine gauge. I think the best course of releasing them is to make/get a release weight so you don’t have to vent them and you can re-pressurise them that way. Like over in west Australia they have it as law you need to have a release weight on board. 👍🏼

@bowlysfishing ahhh okay that's really good to know. Cheers man. I didn't know that. That's why I was asking.. I just see everyone doing it and just say the fish will be fine. You're the first to actually go into detail with why you don't do it. Which makes sense. Thanks bud. Appreciate it. 🤙🏽🤙🏽
@bowlysfishing

No worries. If it’s an actually edible fish that’s come out of deep water I feel you just may as well keep it as even if you vent it it may not survive in that deeper water 👍🏼

@bowlysfishing yeah that's fair enough. I'm about like you lads. I'll keep what I think is enough then I'll release the rest. I'll never bag out. That's too greedy. But cheers man. You have some good info man. Cheers 👍🏽
Hey man I was just starting to get in and have a look out of curiosity how much did you get yours for
