Ойын-сауық
#landscapephotography #nature #photography
Immortalising the ethereal beauty of sunlight piercing through a canopy of trees can yield awe-inspiring images. If you're a budding photographer eager to broaden your horizons, here's an invigorating challenge for you!
Kick-off by ensuring you have a camera at hand and a leafy landscape to explore.
1️⃣ Start by hunting for that particular spot in the woods where the sun's rays playfully dance through.
2️⃣ Next, fine-tune your camera's settings: opt for a low ISO to cut down on graininess and a wide aperture to infuse your shot with a sense of depth.
3️⃣ Lastly, get creative! Try out varied angles and experiment with different times of the day to capture an array of mesmerizing light effects.
Wishing you a joyous click & capture journey! 📸

My pleasure 😊
Nice one... Direct sunlight can be very challenging to work with, but I do like the way it interacts with woodland if you are in the right places. And nothing better than feeling the warmth of the sun on your face 😊 I've always loved backlit trees/leaves as well.

Yes! I am glad it's not just me 😀 It is very welcomed after a long winter, spring is finally here 🙏
Extremely eloquent and well planned, you do exactly what I do, when, on the rare occasion that I'm in the woods alone. I just don't have the need to go on youtube but I do wish you all the best in the process.
Great little video. Thanks for sharing with us. Glad to see you being able to post content on a more regular basis now. Also, like the new hair color. Hope you have many wonderful journeys with the little trooper going forward.

Certainly challenging lighting conditions but also a way to be creative with it. Many times in harsh contrasty conditions I tend to look for single illuminated subjects framed by the natural shadows. It works in nature as well as street photography.

Yes I agree, it's challenging to shoot. I think that's really good advice. I'm certainly learning as I go because I've always shot in subdued light, it's good to challenge yourself and try something new
The Good Stuff. Enjoyed your presentation.

Great video. Light I think is really important when doing woodlands photography. I out this week and keeping my fingers crossed I get harsh light for what I have planned. Looking forward to your next videos on light. Take care, shawn.

Thanks Shawn, yes light is definitely something I've wanted to work on and develop. Especially with woodland photography! Thanks for watching, enjoy shooting 🙏
Brilliant beautiful video thank you for sharing !! Merlin is a bird identification app which when you down load it will use your speaker to listen to the birds and tell you what is around you, a great tool when the little man gets a bit older and is asking you " whats that noise mammy"
Wow! Love the hair! (sorry that was a bit random and absolutely nothing to do with the photography! 😂😂) Anyway, that woodland is absolutely gorgeous! and the light!.

I admire your energy to bring your son with you. It contributes that little extra element to your video. It’s got to be challenging at times I’m sure- I baby sit my grandson a few days a week who was born in beginning of August just slightly older than your boy. Thank you for sharing your photography, I always enjoy your videos, narration, and photography. 👍

Hello, thank you for watching. I appreciate the words of encouragement thank you 😊
wow very beautiful really a very beautiful vision of photography Otherwise for the composition, since you ask for it my preference would have been 50cm lower with the camera so as not to have this crushed effect with a look towards the ground at the bottom of it. But above all, cut on half of the trunk on the left, to remove this stray light and this mess of branches. This catches the eye for nothing, because it's more vivid than your subject. While I wouldn't have changed anything on the right side, because it's really good. Try it on your computer, reframe to compare the two. By doing so, I have the impression that the light returns to the tree. Afterwards, I notice that you have been taking photos for a long time compared to me. So I won't say anything, because it's your choice to compose like this. It's neither good nor bad, because it's your moment! And each has these eyes, each has its own mood For me, it's easy, I'm in front of my screen While you have all this world to appreciate and share with us Superb video, nothing to say, I'm a fan!

I loved the backlit beech tree photo. I don't mind going out in the middle of the day to the forest, yes, dealing with that light can be challenging but I think it makes a photographer work a little harder to find something that is pleasing to the eye and you do that quite well. Best wishes to you and your son.
