Exploring Hillforts | Sueno's Stone | Highland Folk Museum | North-East Scotland Road Trip Part 3

In the 3rd and last part of our North-East Scotland Road Trip, we see the Witches' Stone and Sueno's Stone, the tallest Pictish stone, and then finally visit the hillforts Mithertap and Tap O' Noth in Aberdeenshire and Little Conval near Dufftown the next morning. We then head back home through the Scottish Highlands and stop off at the Highland Folk Museum.
Come along, relax and enjoy!

Places and objects some of us on the West side of The Pond have only read about, now we can see them thanks to your channel. Strategic pauses to read the signs, the almost incredible vistas from the hill forts...so many sights we can see thanks to you. Many years ago Rosemary Sutcliffe and others wrote of the country you now give true images. Thanks again for posting.

Very interesting trip. Thanks for braving the wet weather. Last time I went up Bennachie I was plagued by wee black flies in the heat of summer. Millions of them.

Sounds unpleasant. 😨 Reminds me of being chased off the Rocky Mountain in Northern Ireland by flying ants. We were pretty lucky with not having too many insects around on our road trip. Glad you enjoyed! 😄
