Exploring Forest Fire Damage - Channel Update

We took a ride on our Dual Sports through some of the recent Forest Fire Damage from the Corkscrew fire in eastern Washington. This fire burned almost 16,000 acres over a large area. Its amazing how some areas burned so hot and some areas one side of the road burned and the others didn't. I've been slower posting lately as well so for the first part of the video I'll give a Channel Update as well.

I liked your travel to see the fire. About 6yrs a go Myself and a couple friends rode out to the Springdale fire and was amazed at the damage to nature. In spots it was still smoldering. The deep canyon area's was the worse. I love tree's and hate to see them burn. Did you notice how quite it is in a fire area. No animals ! A sad state. Splotchymoto out......
Great video! Crazy to see the fire damage. At 14:41 you were talking about how the branches froze in the wind. I looked it up and it's called "foliage freeze". I never heard of that before. Very interesting.

Hey thanks for looking that up, I meant to do that and completely forgot. That section was crazy to see in person. The gro pro has a hard time with that much Blacks and Browns in the picture but it was far more devastating than I originally thought it would be

Could you do a video possibly on hiding or fixing that big brake cable sticking up on the 450?
So devastating. The good thing is, it will replenish. Btw. the Strom would've done just fine. Just get yourself some 80-20 tires.

I only hope most animals escaped the fire and ran in to the unburnt forest.
