Exploring by Car the Aberdeen Highlands in Aberdeen, Washington | 4K Realtime Scenic Driving
I have made a video driving through town on Highway 101 so I thought it would be fun to get off of the main road. A subscriber suggested that I tour the Highlands, what amazing views people living there have of the city and bay! This video shows another part of Aberdeen that I never new existed. To get through Hoquiam I had to go back to the highway, there are no houses in the hills on this side of the city.

My mother and uncle are from Hoquim. Grandmother from Amanda Park, and her Russian father and Polish grandmother settled there. I grew up in Olympia, but spent much of my childhood on the coast. I am now almost 40, and I live several hundred miles away, but I make many trips back to Grays Harbor every year. My family is buried in Aberdeen. I love there area so much so, that I'm buying a cabin in the area for my kids to enjoy. Nice video

Thank you :) That sounds fun, summers are awesome out there at the coast!
Aberdeen was always a through town for me, a few times we stopped...had to see the Cobain house for sure. the town is not so bad in hindsight.
I'd lived in Aberdeen for much of my childhood and was even down there just last week to visit family (who live in the Broadway district, I believe it's called) but I'd actually never seen any of these roads before either!

Very cool! Amazing how we miss so much around us, I am trying to see the really obscure places once the weather improves :)
I was born there but I don't remember a thing. I would love to go back and visit! ❤

I also lived in Raymond. I remember wash a way beach on the 4th of July. I was very little then. We would sit on top of that big rock and watch the fireworks.
Beautiful

Very cool, Scotland sounds fun!
We bought land there not too long ago and started to build a little house but while we were there, there were people loitering down at the public river access spot across from our land, screaming, sleeping and littering, there were people loitering *in* our driveway, someone dumped dozens of cows worth of hooves, skin chunks and ears one day and then five gallons of both rice and beans the next on our driveway, which was already littered with garbage hiding in the greenery (and in plain sight) both old and new. Our neighbor told us people would trespass on our land to strip a certain tree of its bark because it could be made into a laxative. It sucked. We were so ready to start working with the land, but for now, we are home helping some friends get *their* dream off the ground. We will try again in the future.

Omg this is so sad. Would love to hear updates if you ever visit it again. I’m thinking of moving there but now not sure how safe itbis
4:09 Sam Benn Park where Kurt Cobain's sister Kim came out to Kurt as gay, and he came out to her as a heroin addict.
I always liked Aberdeen. Rough and tumble sea town. Not as touristy as other towns along the coast.

No problem, your English is fine! It is cool(40-50 degrees), cloudy, and wet from October to May. June through September are in the 60s and 70s with a few days in the 80s. It always seems to be windy at the beach.
You should of gone down felony flats that’s the hood around here it’s pretty bad I live on first and D st and I want to move so bad I moved here thinking it was a cute older town that was smaller and cheaper but no it’s hard living down here a lot of drugs and homeless for a small town
