Exploring a Mexican Drug Lord’s ABANDONED $6,000,000 Mexican Villa

Ойын-сауық

Here’s a location I’ve been wanting to checkout for a long time, This place was amazing as I thought it would be.
It was originally built in 1969 as one of the original homes on the street. Today it sits awaiting demolition.

You hit the ball out of the park with this one Ethan. All the different textures, patterns, colors, wood, brick, stone, stained glass, wrought iron, marbles... Wow!! So it will be torn down and replaced with the "latest" style, smh. This one was one of a kind. Thank you for finding and sharing this gem!

It's so cool the secret closet, the floral wallpaper & matching curtains, chandelier, so many bathrooms. The basement was cool too, and they left the pool table too. I think the wall beside the bridge over the pool probably created a waterfall effect into the pool. I think this is one of my top favorites house's. Thank for showing it Ethan. Great video.☺

Exactly, I look at the modern mansions and yeah they're nice if you like living in a hospital themed home. Like "kids are coming get a room ready to put them in". I want my home liveable and comfortable, no matter if I have a little money or a lot. And these are beautiful homes symbolic of simpler times when family was the focal point. Work ethic was important (maybe not to this guy) and your home was a the place you found comfort and solace, peace and your happy place.

The stairway/staircase is beautiful. They should salvage the railings before the house gets demolished. I really wish most of the stuff like the Kitchen counters get salvage otherwise it's a waste.

I'd call this a Mediterranean home, just because of the iron railings, the arches, and the stucco are characteristics of that style. I feel like there was maybe an upgrade done on the stucco in the 90s with that faux marble finish (maybe that's when they added the kitchen stuff in there too). The ironwork on the staircase is so dramatic and just amazing. The chandelier really makes me think of a cluster of yellowy-green grapes, and there are grape varieties that are grown in Mediterranean regions like that (if they did that on purpose it was pretty damn clever, and omg there were wine barrels down in the basement too!😮i bet they did😄). Thank you for doing this home in the daylight (and for not missing that upstairs bathroom), and for all the other little details like that chandelier in the dining room, and even the doorknob on the gold bathroom door! You're my favourite explorer because you're damn good at this. 🥰

This is by far my favorite, I think. I've seen so many mind blowing but this one had character in every nook and cranny. Maybe a few changes but minor, it is gorgeous! The staircase, elegant. Loved the bathrooms, the dining room just the overall vibe. The basement was a totally sick! I loved the theme of it all. And a pool to top it off indoors. Props to the interior designer and the architect. Demolished? I'll strap myself to the front door! lol Thanks D-dog for giving the heads up to our man! Ethan Great Explore! Take care, stay safe & God bless! xoxo 💖 Kat

Would have loved to have seen the furnishings that went with this style.. imagine they were very large and ornate. The pool room was phenomenal. Great discovery, Ethan.

I would move in IMMEDIATELY and love that house to death! This house has everything I love and is so tastefully decorated. The floors, walls, chandeliers, kitchen, bathrooms, awesome pool table, bar, sauna, pool area, all of it! Especially liked the room with the matching wallpaper and curtains! Thank you so much for catching this house on film and saving its' grace forever. I forgot to mention the gorgeous black wrought iron metal work! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!❤🇺🇸

Wow Ethan! That is one of my favorites, love the late 60’s/70’s Spanish style. I with it would have all still been 1969 and the main floors not as updated as much, but still an amazing house. I hope some more of it is salvaged before it gets demolished, like the chandelier and iron work. That basement was the best, still sort of untouched except for that terrible mauve looking commercial looking carpet. Good find and nice to see it hasn’t been vandalized.

Every room of the house are big and the kitchen is small. I saw a walk in closet bigger than the kitchen itself. Nice and very well taken care of. Many thanks to you Ethan and remember I'm still waiting. Love to join you guys on the exploring. Take care. ✌️💙
