Hi again, Andrea. It is the challenge that I find so inspiring, the progression and experiencial knowledge that builds through the process. The mistakes are very much a part of all this. Thank you again for the lovely comments and appreciation. Have a lovely day, and all the best, Lou X😀

I love watching you for a lot of reasons - you are completely unselfconscious, you are fearless, you don’t get attached to anything that results in a piece, always looking for innovation in experimentation. To me, you really are the soul of an artist, it just comes across so beautifully when you work and inspires me so greatly, and shows me what complete freedom looks like.

I like both of those pieces for very different reasons. The colors of the first one are very appealing. While the texture and how the paints react to it on the second one is gorgeous.

U did make me laugh with your gluey plastic! Not laughing at you cos we have all been there with that one. Stunning work. Especially the cruceiform one. Serendipitous perfection! I like that expression. I saw one guy on u tube who said his job was to make it possible for accidents to happen. And then recognise their potential. Another american painter was debating whether the amount of accidents in his work should be 45%. He then decided nearer 75%!

Hi Robert, it is pretty challenging to be lucid and eloquent when my hands are doing the thinking. He he. I'm glad you like the work and the arbitrariness of the process. Thank you for watching. All the best, Louise😀😀

Hi Anna, thank you for watching. The paper is stretched 600gsm watercolour paper, but I use this because I may end up selling the work. A 300gsm watercolour paper would work, but I recommend stretching the paper. I have a video on how to do this. I will also do another one as I have found a more straightforward method. I just sprayed the paper on both sides, placed the paper down on the board, and then put the tape on the glue side and tape down each side of the paper. This is then left to dry and stretch. The current video is - How to Stretch Watercolour Paper - Video link kzread.info/dash/bejne/f35mj9ummZS1adI.html 😀

@@LouiseJannetta : As you also left out a word in your reply, Louise, please allow me to add the following : Bad spelling is one thing, but you must also learn to self-edit, or find someone to do it for you! Also, may I recommend another KZreadr, “Sparkle English”? She makes learning English Grammar fun, I promise you! Best Wishes for the Holidays, to you and your family.
