I thought that I had a good grasp on nen, Swagkage comes and proves me wrong. I ain’t even mad.

I absolutely LOVE how they rolled out the idea of Nen in the show where the main characters were introduced to it slowly but were forced to fight people with MUCH MORE EXPERIENCE which invariably helped them to grow more quickly. However, the thing that's not talking about nearly as much in this regard is that Kurapika must've been a genius Nen user that rivaled Gon and Killua but unfortunately chose to nerf his full potential by going the route of revenge. Given how quickly he was able to learn and master Nen and how powerful his basic Nen attacks were it's clear to me that had he not set such harsh restrictions on his abilities and simply trained longer he would be one OP as fuck character to more than just the Spiders.

Lycon Xero he’s op because he set restrictions. It’s clearly stated the more strict your restriction the higher the power gain. That’s why he was on a mid lvl hunter lvl when he fault the troupe. He was stronger than gon and kil right off the bat. He wasn’t nerfed, they just caught up to him.

Most Fans dont realize that Conjuration-Nen has a Replacement-Variant, as shown by Tsubone, Ikalgo and Greed Island. A Mechanic that i imagine to be quite popular as it's simple but potent: You give something up to get something new. You could even go to Extremes and conjure yourself into something like a Blade that cant levitate but needs to be used by Someone as a mere Blade, which would sacrifice everything about you temporarily (or even forever), even your Autonomy, just to gain give youre Comrade Power. It’s basically Transifguration-Magic, the thing that Prof McGonagall teaches. Funny/Epic enough: this is the type that doesnt just allows you to summon Creatures like Werewolves but BECOME ONE. Wow. And of course all this can be used as Self-Cursing, which Conjuration is anyway best-suited for.

Meidan Rrustemi I love HunterxHunter alot but I have found an anime that is an equal in goodness to HunterxHunter, it's Neon Genesis Evangelian I enjoyed it quite a bit but sadly it's only 26 episodes long. I recommend it to you my good friend. I would like to know if you recommend any other anime.

Funny: I see the misconception that Specialists have to wove other Nen-Types into their Specialist-Ability so it can work. Means that for example Chrollo has to use Conjuration to summon his Book. This is already pretty unlikely as is, just regarding everything we’ve ever seen and heard in the Manga - but it gets outright ridiculous if you favor-in one little girl: Neon Lestrade. Your gonna tell me this girl used THREE Nen-Types? Unconcious? Haha, good joke. Nah, ist way more likely and supported by literally everything we know of Nen that for example Chrollos Specialist-Ability IS to bring forth a Book. Its not the same as Conjuration. It just resembles it. Neon and Pitou clearly emit something, but that’s not using Emission in any sort or form; ist their Specialist-Power to do this one Thing. It’s obvious without Neon included, but mega-obvious if you count her in: Specialist-Powers always appear to ‚layer above’ some other Category: Some ‚enhance’ something, like Kurapikachu, and others emit or conjure something.

Isn't his first HxH video here, he's done four others: Top Five HxH Fights, Madara vs. Meruem, a video on HxH's manga returning (only to leave us again- and now it's coming back this month lol), and the Potential of Gon and Killua.

I really like how much nen looks and feels like a martial art with how much time and dedication is needed to master it for combat. And I like how well the series does in convincing the audience of that.

The contracts and limits of nen were perfect for keeping this show from going god level escalation

Nen is the most complex and creative Shonen power source. It's one of the few power sources worth doing a video about.

I just noticed something. Swagkage loves both HxH and Naruto, and yet he doesn't complain much about the similarities between the two. My respect for this man has increased by 10.

Skylar Desmire I wasn't referring to what OP said. The plot hole is the fact that Killua is said to be a genius assassin in the family, and yet he knew nothing about nen. But Kalluto had already mastered it. It doesn't make sense.
