It was a little over 2 kilotons of NH4NO3. Which would be slightly less than 1 kiloton of TNT. This is roughly equivalent to the smallest nuclear weapon that has been in the US nuclear arsenal which is the W54 tactical nuclear weapon which in various forms has a yield from 0.005 to 1.0 kiloton. So yes this was a nuclear level explosion.

Yeah, this is why nuclear weapons or anything that explodes for that matter can be extremely dangerous, when an explosion like this happens in the city, it's like 4 natural disasters happening at once, the emergency services get blocked, hospitals get overwhelmed, everything just fails and countless people are trapped and heavily injured with almost no hope to survive.

It's not going to be over. I know people who are part of the trial for a vaccine at Oxford University. There are already four strains of the virus and it will continue mutating. When it mutates it will come back again. It can mutate at any time in any one of the countries it is in and travel around the world again like it did the first time. They know that we are stuck with this forever. It's going to be like the flu, a new version will come every year. Sorry, to be depressing but that's just how it is.
