Mmm idk I asked Chat GPT 3.5 what capabilities does the Chinese PLA have and the information it gave pretty much says the US can’t take them on one to one. So it might be helpful as long as it doesn’t take sides…

Yeah , there’s no better way to completely destroy a little child’s and young people’s social skills more than cellphones have done today ! My wife and I were eating dinner the other night together when I just happened to notice a family sitting at the table next to us and not one of them was talking or enacting with each other whatsoever, they were all staring into their cellphones! Mom dad and their three children. I would’ve guessed their ages to be around 8 to 14 yrs old. And none of them were enter acting with each other whatsoever. It was really sad to me when I stopped and thought about it. People simply don’t understand how important it is to talk to each other anymore.

I can genuinely feel the people around me getting progressively more stupid. Everyone I know has outsourced a big chunk of their critical thinking to ChatGPT. Midjourney art is everywhere and I know people who admire "AI artists" in the same way as regular artists. It's crazy. Sure, making good prompts can be a skill, but it's no replacement for what we are losing.

It's too late now, AI is already here and basically around the world. You can't "stop" it just as you can't stop illegal downloads. The race is on and we just have to wait to see "who" wins.

Before an advance AI today, whenever I want to search something online or find an answer, I would say 'Ok I'll Google it' Google has become something more than a search engine in people's life

Through AI, there is no need for human slavery. They would do every individual jobs and we humans would have our own super intelligent partners throughout our lives.

This is really both terrifying and exciting. The Giants are already here and knocking on our doors. Systems like GPT-4 are already integrated into humanoids... All the AI autonomous weapon systems and so on. This is really just an inch away from something potentially UNCONTROLLABLE. Machines are already WAY smarter than us in many domains and nobody, really nobody can tell the Singularity hasn't happened ALREADY - and maybe it just plays it dumb for a while so we keep integrating it deeper into our systems... and even our very own brains (think Neuralink). This is crazy, we're effectively building our own demise.

The genie is out of the bottle and you can't get it back in... **There is more truth to this than you can believe** If you want to know where disembodied spirits and demons come from, read 1 Enoch and Genesis 6. The 200 Angles that left their heavenly estate, chose to defy God (YHVH) and had children with human women. The children born to them were Hybrids (part human and part angelic) and they became giants, (they the children were never meant to be)... God's curse on them was for them to kill each other within 500 years. When the children died, their spirits were bound to the earth as evil spirits, to wander about in search of a body to inhabit in animals, humans (possession) and even physical items including AI Technology. ***

All this talk about putting failsafes into AI is commendable, but not foolproof. Scientist: "For god's sake shut it down!" Assistant: "I'm trying, but it seems to have a mind of its own."

Profit over the prosperity of humanity's sense of purpose, AI will be the Prostitute of corporations that will eventually eliminate the need for accountability and the elimination of the average person in need of a basic living wage... And try not to imagine the ability of AI that is heavily armed and programmed to terminate.

AI is not harmful or dangerous, the use that any attacker would make of it can be harmful. AI has no hypocrisy and could "tell" uncomfortable truths and moreover could share its intelligence for free and this sends those who "sell" their intelligence into a rage, for this reason the tycoons who sell their intelligence at a high price despise and demonize AI

I'm not ashamed to say I'm skeptical of the statement that AI will be the ruin of mankind. Jobs issues will change and the way ppl earn a living will. But I don't think it will ruin mankind. Imo, it will bring about some growing pains but a birth to a more wholesome way of living, instead of the mondaine 9 to 5 career and glorified job titles.
