Always been a big fan of this drink. Great use of it in the challenge. Ever since I started using an Elevated Craft, the “egg-plosion” is a thing of the past. 😅

I think you would like this one! I used up all my PostModern gin (a local product from here in Knoxville.) I'm going to try one with Beefeater next, since the PostModern was a lower proof and a little more subtle in flavor. It will be interesting to compare the two.

Did you know you can also use aquafaba (CHICKPEA JUICE) to get the same effect? I bought a can of them to try it sometime.

That is a good idea! As error prone as egg cocktails are, this was the first drink where I had issues (although I always expect them!) The night before I made one and it didn't open before I got done shaking, but when I broke the seal on the shakers, the top tin literally flew across the room! Eggs are so dangerous.

home made grenadine has such a deeper red. Still yet to try a pink lady but yours looks great with the garnish :) nice job!

It's worth making. The only bad part is that the shelf life obviously isn't as long as the store bought stuff. I compromised and got a little 8oz. bottle of POM, drank half of it and used the other half to make a small amount of grenadine.

I'm not normally a gin drinker (I know, big surprise, right?), but I love a good sour and this looks great!

This one is really good - I am looking forward to experimenting with different gins, as I just emptied the bottle I used in this vid.

Great job, Bonnie! This looks fantastic. I haven't tried Laird's Apple Brandy yet, but I've heard great things. I have a bottle of Calvados....it's meh.

I tried the Laird's because it was the recommended spirit for the Shaker and Spoon subscription box one month. I probably wouldn't have bought brandy on my own.

@@OneDrinkThreeBars - makes sense. The Shaker and Spoon boxes look pretty cool! If you ever do decide you want a grape brandy, I like Paul Masson VSOP. It's readily available, reasonable in price, and great for mixing. Not a fine cognac if you want that though.
