I think out of all the EXO's Xiumin has the most stable vocals on stage while dancing. I am blown away everytime he manages to deliver his lines on one leg during monster. The other members do have great vocals but if I need to pick the most stable it'd be Xiumin for sure for me!

Xiumin's animal is a cat but he also can be known as a squirrel He was actually nominated as the leader by the other members of CBX, jokingly at first at their debut showcase, but he does a good job! Both Baekhyun and Chen adore their Xiumin Hyung When he debuted in EXO he was known as "the fat member", he was not very confident in the early days and in 2013 he lost a drastic amount of weight, by basically starving himself and living off coffee. Eventually he got to a healthy place in his relationship with food and exercise and in 2015 he had crazy abs, that he had no problem showing off - when you watch "Call Me Baby" and you see what he is wearing, just remember that he wanted to wear nothing under that jacket... Also on the EXO tour that started that year (EXOPLANET 2: The EXO'luXion) he got more and more shirtless as the tour went on! The Jimin in question is a female Jimin from girl group AOA, Jimin is a unisex name. He featured on her single and the song is called "Call You Bae" He doesn't have any real tattoos, mainly because his mother won't allow it, but he is one of the last few members who still has pierced ears (all of EXO-M had pierced ears)

Xiumin is truly sooo precious and special for me , he inspired me to lose wait have more confidence in me in high school, actually he was the reason I'm doing my best to get my PhD it's hard for me with a child and work , CS he managed getting his PhD in his most busy year , just love him like a big brother , most fans don't realize that he hasthe mooost stable vocal in EXO, soo underrated

Jimin is a very common Korean name and there are a lot of Idols, both male and female, named Jimin. (Jimin is a popular name like Jamie or Jamey in English.) The Jimin who did a collaboration with Xiumin on his song "Call You Bae" is the leader and main rapper of the girl group AOA. It's not Jimin from BTS. Right off hand, I could probably name at least 5 well-known idols whose Korean name is Jimin.

Minseok is the vampire of EXO. lol. The man has not aged a day. I mean they all look very young, but I swear, not a day for Xiumin. lol i love it every time you guys say, "why are there always songs we haven't heard?" lol let me tell you, with EXO, the sub units, SuperM, SM Stations, OST's, Cover songs, Solo albums, there is a literal TON you've not heard. I think I have a playlist on my spotify that has like over 300 songs...twice that if you count all the manderin versions....if one member is part of a song, its on there. lol and they are making new stuff all the time. You still have a long way to go and I'm loving every second of your journey. I can't wait, there is so much I'm excited for you know learn about and hear. You're still getting through all the title tracks and have barely begun the b-sides. Its exciting!! Xiumin is leader of EXO-CBX cuz he's the eldest. He was offered the leader position of EXO-M and refused. Usually in Kpop, it is pretty customary for the eldest member to be announced leader of the groups, but in this case, it was passed to Suho for EXO. Chen and Baek prolly refused. lol The song i think you're thinking of with Jimin is Call You Bae MV.

He looks like a fairy and he sings and moves like one. Hahaha. And I’m sure everyone’s told you already, but D.O. Birthday January 12 and Kai 14th!!! Please do D.O.’s most recent work first. SOMEBODY MV AND EXPECTATION ALBUM HIGHLIGHT MEDLEY PLEEEEASE. And Lee Mujin cannot be missed it is just. A masterclass in singing. Then you’ll be able to see the huge difference in D.O.’s current work vs his older videos and the guide is quite old, too. For Kai I’m sure everyone has said Film Kai and Rover Film!

I think one of the reasons why Xiumin didn't want to be the leader of EXO-M -- the Mandarin Chinese sub-unit of EXO -- was because they promoted in China and he wasn't fluent in Mandarin, so in order to be an effective leader he felt it would be better to have a member who spoke Mandarin and could be the representative for the group more easily. For the short time that EXO-M promoted in China, Xiumin was learning Mandarin, but he never became fully fluent, so he relied on his Chinese members and translators to help him out a lot in Chinese interviews and variety shows, etc. EXO-M's leader was Kris, who is Chinese-Canadian, so he is fluent in English, Mandarin and Korean, which made him a better candidate for leader at the time. Which is also why Chen and Xiumin are so close because they were each others' support systems being the only EXO-M members who weren't fluent in Mandarin and the fact that they spent the first couple of years of their career working and living in China a large part of the time. Just so you know, Kim Minseok is a very common name in Korea, so besides the fact that he was given the stage name Xiumin because it helps him fit in as a member of EXO-M and it makes him more relatable to their Chinese fans, It also helps distinguish him from all the other Kim Minseoks in the entertainment industry. He was even on a reality show once where they cast several celebrity Kim MinSeoks together so he actually asked them to call him by his stage name in order to make it less confusing when they were talking about each other. LOL I actually knew a well known actor named Kim Minseok and a musician with that name before I knew Xiumin.

I love Xiumin to bits! He's not exo's ace for nothing. He's a multitalented Jack -of-all trades.

Xiumin is a kitten! When I bought my EXO dolls, Xiumin came dressed in a kitten one piece outfit.

Lay actually participated in Exo's 2021 Don't Fight the Feeling album. He wasn't there in person but his voice is on the album and they green screened him into the video. Yunho is pronounced like "you know" not "yuhn ho". U-Know from TVXQ has that as his stage name because his real name is Yunho.

There's alot of additional infos since this is an old guide and here are some of additional : - Xiumin played Orpheus for the Korean adaptation of Hades Town and he won an award. - His recent drama is Ceo-dol Mart then he spoils us that he's going to do alot of dramas soon. Whenever I think about Minseok and his role in EXO I think - "wherever EXO needs him to be he is there without fail and with fuss" To me he is an all-rounder in the best sense of the word. He can do it all and does it all and makes it look so easy. He crosses an entire formation of choreo in the blink of an eye and makes it looks smooth and no big deal. He hits notes all over the places and blends beautifully and raps well and just is an essential part of making EXO who they are. Fun fact- sometimes CBX looks like the cutest and shortest part of EXO (and they are, not forgetting D.O.) but they also all have black belts (overpowered for real!)

Xiumin collab is with the girl group AoA member Jimin . Is actually a cute song and they looked cute together. Each member is represented with an animal: Xiumin: Cat Lay: sheep Suho: rabbit Baekhyun: flying squirrel (ppl now days consider him a puppy but his animal was flying squirrel) Chen: dinosaur Chanyeol: white tiger D.O: penguin Kai: bear Sehun: wolf TVXQ! has a U-know and Max😂 legendary 2nd generation group big brother of EXO. Even though D.O. is my bias, Xiumin has a special place in my heart because he's the one who got me into EXO. I saw him in some reality show bit (maybe Knowing Bros) and was like "who IS that?" and the rest is history. Speaking of Monster, I know you guys have already watched it in many forms, but they have a dance practice for Monster and it is my favorite dance practice of theirs. Hope you get to it one day :)

It is not in the guide but Xiumin is also quite intelligent.. His wits appear even more when they play a game together 😊 It is rumored online that he has a PhD in Culture and Arts but it is not confirmed info.. He has a master's degree though.. I love Xiumin. I usually think that if I could become friends with someone from Exo, Xiumin and Suho would be the ones I really get along well.. Except for the drinking part though, I don't like alcohol that much 😅

TVXQ has a member called Yunho (love him, they are the group that got me in kpop, ironically with their japanese songs, and their group is the one that brough out the slave contracts and forced the industry to change after their lawsuit with SM in 2010. Though not without them suffering, as they started with 5 members and the 3 that sued were forced out of the group and blacklisted in the industry by SM. Their ban was literally lifted this year). TVXQ (the remaining two members) are still a group and have amazing music and you should definetly check them out. I'll be happy to spam away their history on their own reaction video xD oh, and I think someone in Ateez is also Yunho.

Baekhyun is the leader of SuperM, the "supergroup" of SM artists that includes members of SHINee, EXO and NCT. Even though Taemin from SHINee is the more senior idol, he is younger than Baek, and companies have a tendency to make the eldest the leader. Of course, Baekhyun as you said has a personality well suited to being a leader (much more so than the nation's maknae Taemin), so he got his chance to take advantage of those skills while SuperM was active!

In EXO Showtime (I think) they got like a wet towel and all 11 members squeezed the f out of it until no more water was coming out, and gave it to Xiumin and he still managed to get water out of it. Fun Fact 3: He appears on reality shows the most (tho still not enough, SM is trash). Fun Fact 4: He and Chen are now officially signed with Baekhyun's company (INB100) for their solo and CBX activities. Fun Fact 5: He and Baekhyun are the members who are extremely cute and manly, but also sexy af when they want to (hence, the sexy thing with Chanyeol bit). They are babygirling the best out of all the members, is what I'm saying. xD btw, you should watch that showcase where they did that game, it was so fun, Baekhyun was cringing so hard during the Xiumin/Chanyeol part, it made it even funnier xD Fun Fact 6: He had a housewarming party with the EXO members when he moved out of the dorm (you can watch it on KissAsian, the show is called Sim For You and each season (I think there's four) follows one of the members). The party was so fun, they invaded his house, and he was so tired at the end, poor thing xD Fun Fact 7: He and Chen had a show called "Travel Without Manager" where they basically went on vacation together. Additional fact. Did you guys know that xiumin audition in jyp but got rejected because they said xiumin is fat that time. But thanks jyp rejecting him, xiumin is now member of exo. 😁💕

Xiumin's eyes are commonly commented on as a standout feature of his. (He's the only member of EXO's with monolids.) And the particular look of them + his cleanliness + his general attitude has led him to be labeled as a cat/kitten. Which was funny because for a while Xiumin was afraid of cats (he had been scratched before), but he got himself a cat, a Maine coon he named Tan, to get over his fear. EXO members have said that if they had to be any member's pet, they'd wanna be Xiumin's, cause he spoils his cats. I say cats because he later got another Maine coon he named Ron. There used to be a joke among fans because for the longest time there were no pictures of Xiumin with either of his cats in the same frame; fans said that Tan/Ron was actually Xiumin in his true form~^.^ Xiumin did eventually share pics of him holding his cats, but even that became a funny thing, cause his cats are so big he can not hold both at the same time~~~ Also, there was this great incident where Xiumin, at a ceremony, was standing in front of the girl group A.O.A while they were dressed to promote their song Like A Cat. It was all the talk online about how Xiumin looked like the leader of some kitty kingdom standing with the girls wearing cat ears^.^ Speaking of trending topics~ Xiumin is actually known to trend for literally doing nothing/bare minimum. The general public is just always smitten when they see him. The camera can just show him for a second and he'll be the talk of netizens and others online. One incident actually got him the nickname "ending fairy" before that became what it's known to mean now~ It was just from a quick one second shot of him noticing confetti stuck in his hair and shaking it out! The gif had people by the throat! P.S You're not totally wrong about the chipmunk/squirrel/hamster thing, tho~ Some people, like Amber, have referred to him as a hamster. And CBX is often called squirrels or chipmunks/Alvin & the Chipmunks (or the Powerpuff Girls)^.^ Fans generally, I think, like to avoid singling him out as one as an individual, tho, because of how he struggled with his weight (his weightloss got scary at one point) and his tendency to be a little self-conscious about that.
