Lay has finally started promoting in South Korea again. Very likely his old contract with SM had a clause that prohibited him from promoting in Korea and Japan for a certain period after the contract ended because this 2024 he has finally gone back to doing events in both countries. He has a new single PSYCHIC which has an english version too. He performed Psychic on Korean music shows, the song is super catchy and choreography is great!!!

I'm actually a fan of alternative music, but it was EXO that was the first KPop group I was introduced to, and since then, it is the only KPop group I stan. I have watched other KPop groups sing and perform, but it's EXO that has raised my standards for real music talent. These boys are not only for the visuals, but the amazing vocals and dancing skills every member is capable of. I may suggest that you also check out SB19, which I'm slowly digging into their rabbit hole. They're the PPop Kings of the Philippines, as their talent is comparable to that of EXO. Pure and raw talent on the grind, both for EXO and SB19.👏👏 ✌️✌️

You just described me exactly. It’s been 11 years since I became an EXO fan after seeing one mv, which was my first ever kpop. Today I’m an EXO fan that likes some kpop songs on the side. To me there’s no other group that has their talent and skill or a discography I like as much.

Lay visited Korea to promote his new song PSYCHIC and he had a live vc with Chanyeol on his way to one of his live performances. Kai and Sehun are still serving in the military at the moment. So EXO is still promoting as 7 members in SK and solos in the meantime but I hear theres a EXO WORLD TOUR SOON!!!!

Kai is in the military completing his mandatory military requirements. Lay did not renew his contract with SM. China still will not lot him come back to Korea as a part of EXO. (Edit: I was informed below he is allowed to tour in South Korea now). He will always be a member of EXO though. Lay is very big in China, one of their top money makers. He does a lot of variety shows there as well. He just released a new song called Psychic. It is in three versions English, Korean and Chinese. The group love and miss Lay a lot! We all do! ❤❤❤❤

It’s because of the dang childish conflicts between both countries and mistreatment etc. LAY may not be officially under SM but he has a semi active relationship with SM still since he’s still part of EXO as well as Baekhyun, CHEN and XIUMIN who have joined other agencies to promote their solo activities. LAY and CHANYEOL recently had a video call during his latest IG live and I lost my mind, most of the members literally follow each other on their social medias who all continue to support each other no matter what others may think. *CHINA govt are control freaks who to have their hand in everything.*

He’s already been working in Korea baby where you been? 😂 He set up an office in Seoul and He’s performed Psychic in several the music shows in Seoul… there is no confirmation that it is Chinese government preventing him from performing as an Exo member. We dont know whats happening behind the scenes, maybe he just cant come to an agreement with SM if theyre offering him a crappy contract to be in Exo as you have said he is huge in China it doesnt make sense for him to be tied in an SM contract it’s small money compared to all the deals he gets in China. He is a Mercedes and Hublot ambassador amongst dozens of other brands… who knows it may even be his personal choice to focus on solo activities at this time. Yes, he repeatedly always says he is an Exo member, and we believe him. But please dont spread any misinformation unless we hear anything from the artists or their agencies official statement. Let’s just be happy he is back promoting in Korea and Japan now. Obviously something in his old contract prohibited him from performing there for a certain period even after his original cpntract with SM ended.

Ten from NCT was able to be on China shows while working at SM and WayV are allowed to be in Korea and China now so I think Lay not working witj EXO is his choice. I have not heard him say he's still apart of EXO unless he says it in english himself because I don't trust translations anymore

Lay signed under Warner Music China & Range Media Partners now, Baehkyun, Chen, Xuimin are signed under Baehkyun's label INB100 and DO is under SooSoo established by his previous manager. But all still with EXO.

In my point of view, SM company is going downfall during these years. They used to be huge but now the whole company is a mess. They can’t even handle Exo’s promotions properly. That’s why Exo’s members start to create their own company.
