Last year was meh, no real changes in the kpop scene, no real big new kpop groups and stuff, and a bit boring because literally every big3 kpop gg did a cute concept (BP with AIIYL, TWICE with Knock Knock, Signal, Likey and Heart Shaker, Red Velvet with Rookie and Red Velvet) I'm new as well so maybe I'm wrong (only into kpop since January 2018) So yeah I think this is what the person means, this year there have been GIDLE, Loona, Stray Kidz, iKon, MOMOLAND who have all changed the kpop scene sort of (Loona not yet but I believe in them) I also think GIDLE will really become one of the top kpop GG's tho

@@nmixxroyals Solji the main vocalist was sick from the thyroids at that time so she went on hiatus to recover for about 2 years. At the time they were releasing ddd she was much more recovered but not enough to perform on stage so she and the company decided to record her vocals and leave them on the final track although she wasn't performing during promotions to get more hype from the fans and let them know she wasn't leaving the group at all, and that worked amazing and the single sold more than the previous comeback. Solji has such a powerful and emotional voice, one of the best in kpop. Also you can notice how strong is the relationship between Exid members. They are truly like a family. Such an unique group. Will highly reccomend you to stan them. They are so talented vocally and in dancing, gorgeous, super funny, lovely, iconic and they produce their own tracks

Lets take a minute to appreciate how Hyerin has handled the toughest and most judged role in any girl group ... lead vocals. She has overcome a lack of confidence, mean and hateful comments about her looks and voice and come out of Solji's considerable vocal shadow. She is now on par with almost any girl group vocal and this song and her solo prove it. Not only this, she has never stopped being her cute, loveable, dorky self.

Hannah Tabuan She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism I think in early 2016, which is a very serious illness. She's still in recovery, but she took part of the songs in this mini album. Her health got worse before promotions, so she couldn't be in it.

This is actually EXID comeback as 5 voices even tho only 4 members are representing the group currently. Solji's voice is on the track but she still won't be in any of the live stages.

They are one of the older groups that actually has a discography that still holds up to this day. Their R&B songs are PERFECT and there's No overuse of autotune and shit, A group worth stanning for talent and incredible music.

not to mention amazingly talented and versatile members! LE mentored Hyuna who is another one of our 2nd gen legends of kpop thriving in today's industry still (literally came back with Ping Pong with her bf idol, Dawn last week!) and LE composes and writes or co writes a lot of EXID's songs too!

Hailee Stevens yeah, and it’s the same group so it’s not hating if you’re complimenting the newer comeback for being an improvement in their opinion.

So proud of my girls. They will get 1M easily! We should set 2M as a goal. I usually don’t care about views at all but I want them to know we support them. Especially now when Solji is sick.

Rukia Kuchicki the 5th member, Solji, couldn't participate in the mv and the promotions because of her bad health. she's been absent in Night Rather Than Day as well. you can hear her singing though!!!!

EXID Leader and Main Vocalist Solji is on medical hiatus because of Hyperthyroidism, this will be the second set of promotions where she's been unable to perform. Fans can only hope for her speedy recovery and wish both her and EXID luck, love and support.
