lisa manoban during up&down promotions, pharkil (a fansite) recorded a fancam for hani and uploaded it onto youtube. that fancam took off and gained millions of views, and brought exid’s popularity up as well. before that, exid wasn’t that popular and was close to disbanding, but thanks to that fancam, exid rose to fame and is now the gg they are today^^

I actually know Hani because of variety shows, such a weird thought they could've never happened if it wasn't for the fancam. After that their cameback but don't get much a lot of attention even the song "Up&Down" itself (their fanside have only 10-15 people came to see them and 8/10 of them just a GGfanbase that go to take a photo of GG in common just like that form start to the end of promoting Up&Down) ,"If Up&Down is flop their gonna disband" The member said in one of interview ,But that Pharkil's fancam show up ,its bring a lot of attention to EXID,its go viral a cross the world and rise to 1st in Gaon music chart (One of a big music chart in Korea) , if i don't wrong a musicshow invite them to promoting "Up&Down" again even their already done promoting. after that their popularity is rise up more and more.

For everyone who wants to stan EXID: 0:25 - Hani. She's the face of the group. She's incredibly smart and has such a unique personality and a sense of humor. She's super funny off stage and is never embarrassed to show her true self but on the stage she's very charismatic. Great at English and has a beautiful voice, especially when she uses her lower register. She is someone you can always count on to make you laugh. Also does a lot of variety. 0:33 - Jeonghwa. The maknae, the main dancer and visual of the group. She's a whole angel who debuted at such young age but it's crazy just how much she improved since their debut (just check Don't Wanna Drive- her vocals? I love them). She's constantly pushing her limits, doing everything everything the best she can. She's also really cute and friendly in general. 0:42 - LE. That's not only our charismatic main rapper but she is the composer and songwriter for most of EXID's discography. She's undeniably one of the best rappers in the industry, and is acknowledged by many as such. Her charisma is also crazy but she's actually a whole baby (don't let her fool you). Her friendship with Jeonghwa is the best (they're called Tom and Jerry). Such a hard-worker. 0:58 - Hyelin. As you can see by now EXID's maknae line is on another level. Hyelin might be the lead vocalist of the group but check out her covers and you'll see just how incredible and powerful voice is. During Solji's hiatus, she even took on her high notes which are very challenging and pulled off them perfectly. Did I mention she's extremely funny? She's super approachable, and has such a lovely personality. 01:08 - Solji. My ult bias. I could write essays about this woman because the strength and love that she has is truly amazing. If you checked out their other songs, you might see that she didn't participate in some of them. Despite dealing with hyperthyroidism which forced her to go on a hiatus, she didn't forget about the fans (Leggos) for a single second. She's the main vocalist, personally my favourite main vocal out of all groups (just check out her King of Masked Singer performances, where she won - TWICE) and a leader. As a leader, she is so responsible, even during the hiatus she was constantly with the group, supporting them and showing them love. The chemistry that they have is seriously beautiful. You can always check out EXID showtime, a lot of different series on their Vlive, some variety appearances (Weekly Idol and King of Masked Singer for all members, yes all). Also, their discography is crazy versatile so check out their b-sides. Oh, and just as an example of how much they care about each-other. They shared all of their earnings with Solji while she was on a hiatus. They also almost disbanded, but a fancam of Hani became viral and so did the song. And we couldn't be luckier they're still making music today. Please support this comeback, as their contracts are gonna expire next year. Let's show EXID is still strong so they can continue making amazing music for us.

Aurora Knutsen I like the song and mv but “fresh and new” that’s a stretch if I’ve ever seen one.😓 The thumbnail looks like Bruno Mars-treasure mv down to the red suit, filter and the whole vibe and the structure of the song sounds like their other songs like L.I.E or Up and Down so “fresh and new” that would be a big fat NO.😑Still a great song though.😍

@Nazrie Adam Well, I'd say it's since it starts with the hook/chorus, the last note of the hook switches to head voice (which seems to be common in western pop/indie), the "I love you like" and "la la la la.." has the same tune, the synthesized beginning of the hook, and the overall vocal tone of the chorus all seem to resemble pretty western vocal trends, but I'm not saying it's a bad thing that it sounds like that.

EXID don't know what a bad comeback is. Solji comes back as if nothing's happened. They work so hard. ❤️❤️

you got no jams She had to have an operation of some sort but it meant she couldn't perform for longer than a year but here she is hitting high notes effortlessly.

omg yes. its so annoying, most girls in gg have bomb ass amazing voices but they cant show their real voice or sing however they want because their company forces them to sing in a certain way. fricking annoys the hell out of me. they practice for years just to have their real talents locked away

I like that the chorus is in fresh and new style (tbh it looked so american in the teaser) but rest of the song has the exid vibe, so kpop is still winning and queens are still sitting on their thrones ☕
