Just fitted a Takegawa system to my Monkey, not to loud sounds great, feels like more power low down and revs freer, I'm very happy.

I sure like the way it integrates with the factory heat shields. It's the best looking of all of the aftermarket exhausts because of this. Sounds great BTW!

I like both sounds. There is something very comforting about the stock Honda purr when one starts the Monkey. You go "oh boy...this is all Honda...like all of the Hondas of my life"...and there is comfort to that welcoming of the Monkey into that sound lineage. But the Takegawa is also a very confident sound, and perhaps easier heard by cars. I am glad that it can be installed while still keeping the stock heat shield which really is what makes you feel close to the lineage and history of the bike itself.

Do you get a check engine light from the swap? What do you do with the o2 sensor? Thanks in advance brother, Will.
