I like Pearce but he had a shocker in this game. Gave a penalty against Freddie for being taken out in the air too.

@@Noah20 the most staggering thing was the TMO confirming the call. Said he wasn’t going to catch the ball well obviously not if there’s an Exeter player stood between him and it.

If you hit the ball up like that you're deemed to be in possession of the ball and therefore the Exeter player is completely entitled to take him out.

Not even sure it goes forward having watched it a few times. Where it bounced for me wasn’t actually in front of where he plays it.

​@@AndrewDavidForde Except Nadolo was still in the air and there was no wrap. Can't take out a player in the air. The impact didn't look too bad given Nadolo's girth but a less massive player could have landed badly. And Nadolo's hand was clearly moving backwards. No way he "batted it forward" like the ref insisted. Only the eventual bounce propelled the ball forward from Nadolo's perspective. Bad call IMO. It's so strange how two people can watch the same video and have completely different interpretations of facts.
