The best rebounder is a Cellerciser by Dave Hall. It is built with patented steel springs not bungee cords that will stretch and break. Utube has lots of videos of Dave Hall showing different exercises and even a complete workout on the Cellerciser. You can get serious injuries on cheaper made rebounders. I just purchased a Cellerciser after doing research on the different ones out there.

Is it ever too late to exercise and reap real benefits from it? My dear mom had a stroke 17 years ago and lately, in the last few years, she has developed a drag in her left leg and loses her balance quite ofte...though most times she catches herself and doesn't fall. If exercise can help an 84 year old woman...what exercises would be suitable? Please someone with knowledge answer.

In general I love your stuff, and have been re-energized to return to clean eating, and have become a fan of your teaching! I lead with that, because I hope that you take what follows as Proverbs 27:6 says faithful are the wounds from a friend. I am a Certified Pedorthist with 20 years experience. I had to pause this video to respond to your claims regarding barefoot running. 1. There are many reasons why kids run on their toes, and it's a much more nuanced subject than you present, and that I can explain in the comment section. 2. You are incorrect about the barefoot running shoes. The "toe shoes" have been largely removed from the market due to excessive forefoot injuries due to an increase in forefoot injuries due to excessive pressure being forced upon the met heads at both foot strike and toe off. Firstly from the tightness of the shoes in general. That creates compression pressure and decreases the total area in which pressure can be spread. Secondly, The back pressure exerted on the ends of the toes essentially pushes pressure back on to the met heads in the moment prior to toe off, essentially hitting the met heads with a "double whammy". There have several studies, (some conflicting conclusions), regarding whether barefoot style running is healthier than shod running. In other words, the jury is still out scientifically. I look at it this way, if you look at the foot anatomically, where is the largest bone? The heel. Where did God put the protection against ground reaction force when ambulating? The heel. I believe that God didn't design us for long distance running as a sport or competition, even though he forsaw it, I don't believe that He designed us for it. Just like most of the things in our lives, we took God's design and perverted it. Running is no different. Thank you for your time and teaching. God Bless you!

I am a 51 year old woman. I recently started running/sprinting in the last year. I use to love running as a child. I was never able to do it in an organized competitive way. However, growing up in NYC. The kids in my neighborhood were able to put together our own competitive races. With this being said, I have always and continue to do so today, have run on my toes. Not my tippy toes. However, I land on my toes. I was really fast when I was young. I am pretty fast now considering my age. I have never had any injuries (knock on wood). It makes no sense to me that one would land heel first. I've always believed these types of runners as non-runners. They tend to be slower. I am not someone that studied this so I am by no means an expert. I am just an enthusiastic observer of track events. In my opinion, the fast runners land on their toes. Not their heels.

I grew up running barefoot, and so did most of my brothers and sisters. We ran 5k races nearly every Saturday! The longest distance I have run is 11 miles, and yes barefoot! I think shoes hurt my feet, but I lost a lot of foot callus and now sometimes have to wear shoes on my runs, so I am using Nike Frees which are minimal, thin shoes.
