Many UK Enthusiasts will say that 1994 was our countries best coaster year, since we had Big one, Nemeisis and shockwave all within a short time... But i think 30 years on 2024 will be comparable as another great year with both Exodus, Nemesis 2.0 and Draytons new family coaster. our country needed this coaster boost and im so glad were getting it. I hope Merlin doesn't stop investing into Thorpe. despite being on a island they still have so much land to work with. hopefully Thorpe can house more and more world class attractions after Exodus!

I hope Heidepark can get something new. Its one of Germanys biggest Parks and the Last new coaster was built 10 years ago :( Cant wait to visit UK

@clubstep While Heide Park has been lagging behind, Europa-Park and PhantasiaLand have been upping their game. PhantasiaLand built Taron and FLY within the last few years, and Europa-Park built Arthur and they're currently building Voltron. These days, the only reason to visit Heide Park is if you live in central Germany and don't want to travel all the way up north to PhantasiaLand or down south to Europa-Park. So yeah, Merlin really needs to up their investment if they want to compete. Alternatively, they could just sell off Heide Park and double down in the markets they're already dominating in, especially the UK.

According to RCDB Exodus is due to be 30ft taller than DC rivals!! We should all be very excited indeed!!

It's nice to see some new rides coming to the UK, I live a 5min cycle from where the cancelled London Resort was gonna be and I got all excited until I got the bad news

Maybe because the USA actually has clear skies. That's why all the Gigas except I305 are blue.

Nice to see Jack hosting… he makes logos and merch for the park a proper creative and fellow coaster you tuber… his channel for exodus updates has no parallel

Exdous is going to be 236ft tall and is going to be the shortest Hyper coaster in europe however just because its short does not mean it cannot be good look at Nemesis that's short yet packs a punch. something I cannot put into my mind is that Exodus is shorter than Schwurs des Karnan.

This looks way better than DC Rivals Hypercoaster

This looks like the best coaster in the UK and I cannot wait to ride it. The outerbanked turn looks insane and overall the layout feels unique and world class which is exactly what the park needs I heard the old music for colossus in the background which in my opinion is better than the ride for now at least

Now we must hope that Thorpe Park does not send trains out every 8 minutes on this coaster...

Did you guys think the operations were better on this visit than your last out of interest? People are generally saying that Thorpe is getting better but I wouldn’t know, I haven’t been for over a year now! 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@CoasterStudios ah good good! I’m glad, it was getting way out of hand a few years back. It got to a point where queues that were advertised at say 30 minutes would regularly be topping 90 instead because of how bad the ops were. Glad you guys had a good time!

​@@Matt-op1zd I remember last year on a school trip, they were running one-train ops on Tidal Wave and the queue was over an hour. The rest of the queues were fine, though.

It looks to have 2 inversions. A unique dive roll after the outer bank and then a stall/dive loop. There should be more airtime than inversions on exodus.

@@pyrobundy Yep. 5 airtime moments, 2 inversions. It's definitely more of an airtime machine than looping coaster.
